Received this today and was worried as the package was lightweight. I thought the box was empty...This product is very lightweight. Installation was easy, however would prefer a larger cutout for the cabling to pass through into the unit. Apart from that, very happy with this product. There is a very very slight "humm" that comes from the unit due to the LED transformer, but youd need to be listening for it for it to be a reason to not buy this product.Worth it in my opinion.

We have just bought (and ceiling mounted) the 18W version. Its fitted in a bathroom and its incredibly bright. Could have done with a 12W version. The bathroom measures just 1.9m by 1.7m with a height of 2.3m and the output is too high for the room, unless you like to shower with sunglasses on. Will have to find a way to reduce it. Update: found a way to reduce the light output. As the emitters do not generate any heat I can measure, I used a diluted water based black paint and painted the emitters. This has worked extremely well and I am most pleased with the result.The light colour is very similar to daylight - it produces a crisp, clean, white light which bounces off everywhere in our white bathroom.It would have been nice to have the manufacturer state the light output in watts (which in this case is circa 100W) BUT do remember the colour of the light affects how humans percieve light intensity. So - This light is powerful and you will percieve it to be MORE so - if you are after subdued lighting this is NOT for you - this is powerful, even at 18W and easily surpasses the illumination of the old type 100W bulbs.This unit is not dimmable so adjusting the voltage is not an option. However, its still a cracking little light with a fab output.

This was a great light when it was working. Unfortunately it started playing up about 6 weeks after I received it.It started to flicker dimly when you switched it on but would suddenly burst into life.Now, after just over 2 months, it will only flicker. It does not turn on. Very frustrating as you cannot just change a bulb to get it going again, you have to replace the whole unit. This has caused untold amounts of grief in our house because it is the bathroom light.I like the light so I have ordered another one for next day delivery. I will leave my one star rating until at least Jan 2018 to see if it lasts that long.I see there was also another reviews, 11th and 13th Jan, where the buyers had failures. Both very recent and both 18W versions, the same as mine.It is now October 2017 and the replacement has failed. These are a pile of junkThe seller said they will not refund me but they will send me a replacement. Why on earth would I want another one.I cannot understand why they are still sending out replacements, they should stop selling these.I would not be very happy if one of my family had an accident because they were plunged into darkness whilst showering.I really wish I could give minus stars as these lights do not even merit Zero stars.

This was very easy to install - just 2 wires to connect, 2 holes to drill in the ceiling and very light in weight.This made the bathroom so much brighter when I turned it on for the first time and there should be next to no running costs as it uses led lights. Likely to buy for another bathroom in my house.

Bought this around 16 months ago and had it installed in a rarely used bathroom, so usage was more like 120 hours and not close to the stated 30,000 hours. It stopped working around 2 weeks ago, just got round to looking at it and you cannot replace the bulb as its a LED circuit board that you cannot replace AFAIK. Need to buy a new light fitting and have that fitted, one which you can replace the bulbs in. Will never buy a light like this in future. Gave it two stars because when it did work it was nice and bright.

Great, bright light Just what I needed for bathroom, The room is so much brighter than from my previous fitting with a old incandescent bulb. Fitting a bit of an issue but this was due to my electrics and not the light its self. Plastic diffuser is a little flimsy but once fitted you should not need to touch it again

This light unit gives out superb even light and is very easy to fit. The advertisement states up to 30,000 hrs use, well the first one I had lasted 8 months, approx 1200 hrs. It was replaced as it was within the 12 months warranty. The replacement has lasted about the same time. I'm buying it again and giving the unit one last chance. If that one fails too then I'm paying a lot off money (£20) for something that lasts no longer than a standard bulbs (£2). Very disappointed with the longevity.

Bought for our electrician to install in bathroom - only to find that the electrician himself buys/uses this product for his customers. The price was great. Our bathroom gets a great deal of condensation but despite this the light fitting works well and has not suffered from being in this environment. It looks great too! We bought a second light fitting from this company to go in another room.
