Is stronger and feels more secure than my old cane. My need for assistance is only temporary, but it's nice to have a high tec model for now when I need one for a week or two. Easy to adjust- untwist a little screw cap which always stays centered on the shaft and then you can push the button and lengthen or shorten the cane as the button snaps into a different hole.Lets say you must kneel down to tie a shoe. When you get down, shorten the cane to lowest setting, that way you get much more strength when returning to standing, and far less pain. Then lengthen the cane back to normal and twist the knob to tighten. With the knob twisted tight, the push button can't push in, so there's no danger of it slipping in and cane collapsing. That just can't happen no matter what. It makes the length changes double safe.Very light and attractive. The width of the 4 x 4 base is 6" front to back. And 4" side to side. So it's narrow 4" for poking into tight places, but longer 6" for stability. Great for a rocking gait. Touch the back 2 tips on the ground in front of you. Rock the base so that all 4 touch when feet catch up forward to the cane. And then the front two tips will touch as you move out in front of the cane. while rocking the base. It's sort of rocking motion and lots of can makers show this in videos on youtube.You don't have to rock the cane if you don't want to do that. Just place all 4 level on the ground all the time. Which is the normal way to walk with any cane. That's actually more stable, but not as quick of a pace as in rocker walking. Point is that a 4" wide 6" front to back makes for a nicer rocking than a square base if you want to move fast.If you are taller, Amazon has the same brand is a longer cane. Look around Amazon for it. This cane is great. Very sturdy. I really like the four pronged foot. And the color makes me happy

I needed support for my balance. A cane was not enough. When l got this new one with the four prongs, l was amazed at the difference. I am confident now.

I had ordered this for my mother as she recovers from surgery and working to move from a walker to a cane. However, her PT said the base is too large for what she needs. She said that this is more for someone recovering from a stroke.We looked at replacing the base with something smaller, but the screw is not a normal flat or phillips head and requires a special screwdriver.My mom loved the color, so we will work on replacing the base for what she needs.

The padding on the handle is very comfortable after a good amount of use by my grandma so far. She is 4'10" so an adjustable cane is an absolute deal breaker and this is SO easily adjustable and came down low enough for even her. It is VERY sturdy and seems like it's made out of really quality material. The legs are all really even, which is a thing that I was concerned about, but turned out they were all well adjusted and assembled correctly, so there was no unevenness.She really liked how vibrant the color is too. My mother is 71 years old and has 2 bad knees. When she goes out she has to use a cane and this one is by far her favorite. Its very sturdy, has a large handle that fits comfortably in her hands, and can stand on its own when she has to set it down to make a payment, or grab something at a store. Shes less prone to leaving it behind when its right back at her hand, instead of hanging it on a counter to pull out her debit card. Its expensive, but well worth it for the security she feels.
