Rentokil PEST CONTROL - INSECTROL BUG & COCKROACH SPRAY

This product is brilliant, just make sure you sake well before use. I have had hardly no spiders since using this, I just spray round all the doors, windows, skirting a and nooks and cranny's. I often find a dead one since using this in the corners when I'm hoovering. I keep it topped up once a month and I wouldn't use anything else. The couple I have seen got a direct squirt and were dead within a couple of minuets. I'm an awful arachnophob and I couldn't cope without this. My only negative is once, both my tins came with damaged lids due to lack of packaging which let some of the product leak out, however it was only once :).

After a rather large spider problem (that's referring to the size of the spiders & the quantity!) and trying various products from garden centers etc I realised that nothing actually worked unless I sprayed something directly onto the spiders. I saw this product on Amazon & at such a reasonable price thought I'd give it a go. Was surprised at how well this worked!!! I sprayed onto all surfaces around doors, window frames and outside my front door & by the next morning all creepy crawlies were dead. I mean it was a graveyard of bugs out there!! Since then I've had no insects, arachnids or anything else venture into my house, literally nothing. You have to make sure you keep applying regularly, probably once or twice a week & especially after its rained & you won't be disappointed. On another note there was an issue with the delivery of this item but Home Star supplies were excellent at communicating, very friendly & helpful, and the problem was resolved very quickly. Overall I highly recommend the product & company :)

First time we have tried this, on the inside of a garden shed, must admit, it worked a treat and on a daily check, have not seen any creepy crawlies returning after two weeks, will purchase more. So, it works and works well.

I bought this because there was a giant spider living in a hole in my room, I sprayed it directly into the hole, around the doors and windows as I live in a small annex in the garden and always have creepy crawlies coming in. A few hours later there was lots of dead bugs around the places I sprayed, and no sign of the spider, weeks later and STILL haven't seen a single spider or bug in my room! Marvelous!

Bought this after reading other reviews , so thought I would give it a try as I am terrified of spiders , and my boyfriend is not always going to be here when they decide to scare the living day lights out of me, so decided I would need back up and am going to try this spray to see if it does kill the blighters!! I was happy enough at the price it was with delivery, however I was surprised when ordering it the 24th September it did not arrive until 3rd October so pretty slow delivery , it was boxed well enough though I did spray just a tad on a vine weevil and it dropped dead almost immediately, so bring it on spiders I am armed and somewhat dangerous!!!

It is absolutely essential if you have massive garden spiders. But it is a very expensive item! You end up paying more for the delivery than the item itself. I spray April and August every year (in the uk). The best one is the Black label which says Rentokil Insectrol "LONG LASTING" but for some reason I cannot find this label easily on amazon. The massive spiders do not die instantly but they are stunned when you spray on to them, they can't move, they then die within 3-4 minutes. The small to medium ones die almost instantly (within 1 minute). It does not work well with wood worms.

It really works for spiders!!!! I didn't believe it but thought it was worth a try as I am terrified of medium/large spiders. Its great takes a couple seconds for small/medium spiders but take a little longer for big fat ones like tube spiders, however it slows them right down within a couple seconds so you can dispose of them without worry with a glass and piece of card! Honestly the best thing I have bought in a long time. Will definitely buy more asap I never want to run out of this stuff!!!

Absolute rubbish for killing spiders, which is the main reason for buying, based on other buyers' comments. Have used most of the can on trying to eradicate three house spiders; I've sprayed above them, below them (they apparently 'drop down' to avoid sprays) and right at them... and they still continue on their creepy crawly way. Okay, so this stuff is primarily for use with other types of insect and spiders are not mentioned on the can, but when 'reviewers' say that it is also good for zapping arachnids then, the next question to ask is what is different about their spiders to ours? There appears to be a spider infestation in the UK this year so, what is the solution to rid ourselves of them, because it sure isn't by using this product.
