One Large 3" Inch Diameter Hardened Chrome Solid Steel Bearing Balls, Vigorous Precision Balls

What more could you ask for? They're big, they're metal, they're round. Bought to help weigh down filament spools in an ams-1. Went up a size based on anecdotal mentions of 1.5" and 1.75" sometimes not being heavy enough. 2.0" is a bit too heavy unless the spool is VERY low, so if you're here reading reviews about giant ball bearings because of your 3D printer spools slipping, be advised these 2" ones are a bit too heavy No marks off for the product or seller of course, the product is as advertised and of good quality.

Well heck! I didn't think it was going to be so perfect. I bought it as a sail shade weight to anchor against wind. The surface of this monster looks like a perfect mirror, a proper gazing ball, if you will. I'm reluctant to drill it and let it get scratched up. I guess I'll have to mess around with it until I naturally bruise it up. It is HEAVY, a seriously dense, polished, perfectly round sphere. I showed it to my neighbor and handed it to him -he almost dropped it because the heft is so unexpected. package arrived quickly, and I'm both pleased and humbled.

These bearings are perfect for my display. I am sure they would be great for their intended use, but I am using them as decorations in a display. These precision cut bearings work well and they add that little extra exactly where it is needed. All 5 bearings are in great condition. The size and shine are exactly what I hoped for when I bought them. The bearing size is very good as is their weight. They are very durable, too. Recommended... in displays and in their original, intended use.

They make great cannonballs

This 3" bearing arrived packaged in bubble wrap and was flawless in appearance. I bought this as a desktop novelty, and it is perfect, at a competitive price too.

These things work really well for what I need them for I need them for weight & balance purposes in inserts I make for my trainer balisongs/butterfly knives they work really well I like them because they’re heavy for what they are perfect weight for what I need

Needed these to replace balls in an arrow ball clock. These fit the bill bright and shiny. They come packed in oil and will need to be washed before use.

I ordered these to replace the balls in a very old (obsolete) CDE AR22L antenna rotator. I replaced the original 6-ball top and 6-ball bottom ball bearings and cage with a "full compliment BB setup", which ended up requiring more than I anticipated (106 BBs), so I had to use 6 of the original bearings to fill the circumference. These were sized perfectly, which allowed that. No more broken "spring steel bearing cage" to break and destroy my rotor motor ring gear. A wise engineer once said "Parts left out cost nothing, and rarely cause problems", LOL. It should be stronger than ever, too, able to take "more than stock vertical loads", without denting the races.

Not spherical, 0.2mm out of round. Also not 3.5" in diameter. Actually 3.550" average diameter.
