Versatile and Well-Designed Power Ratchet for Light to Medium Duty Tasks
This power ratchet tool exceeded my expectations in both design and performance. It features interchangeable 3/8" and 1/2" anvils, which are extremely easy to swap, adding flexibility for different tasks. The length of the ratchet is ideal for working in tight spaces, such small cars engine compartment.Included in the package is a 1.7Ah Power Stack battery—a first for me—and a 4 AMP output charger, which ensures quick and efficient charging. The forward/reverse switch is intuitively placed for easy access, and the trigger lock is a thoughtful addition to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport. One of the most impressive features is its ability to function as a manual ratchet, allowing me to loosen bolts that the motor alone couldn’t handle. The torque output is more than satisfactory for light to medium duty applications. In practice, I used this tool to remove two eleven-year-old Zero Turn idler pulleys with failed bearings. The first pulley had a self-locking nut, which the ratchet removed effortlessly. The second required manual loosening followed by motorized removal—again, the tool performed flawlessly. It provided excellent clearance and eliminated the need for a breaker bar, saving time and physical effort.Overall, this is a well-engineered, reliable tool that’s perfect for professionals and DIYers alike. Highly recommended for anyone needing a compact, versatile ratchet for everyday mechanical tasks.

Dewalt quality tool
I love this ratchet. I used it quite extensively when changing struts on my wife’s car. This did not have a batter or charger, which I knew going into it. It is plenty powerful to take off brake caliper bolts and ball/tie rod end nuts as well. It will cinch bolts/nuts easily, but you will still need to properly torque bolts down with a torque wrench. It has a 3/8” and 1/2” socket ends to handle a wide wangle of sockets. Because it’s not an impact socket, you can use regular sockets with it. The length is a problem in certain situations, but it’s nothing that extensions or a swivel can’t help overcome. It’s not cheap, so it is a luxury if you can afford it.

Works well, but not that much torque
I bought this for DIY car fixing. I like that you can change the bit sizes between 3/8 and 1/2, but ngl this is a lot weaker than I was expecting. It has rating to go to 75ft/lbs, but that's definitely not real world. For instance, a lot of brakes calipers are held down at around 35-40lbs and even when I tighten it to that and then use this to initiate, it will fail. I think this is probably great for the little bolts that are around, but you still will need an impact hammer that can handle the initiate untorqueing. The build quality thought is fantastic. It just feels like so much better than the offbrand labels. Comparing it to the major brands, it feels very much the same. Overall, I'd recommend buying this if you do a lot of garage work but just remember that you probably still need a better impact or breaker bar.

Nice addition for folks who do some wrenchin'.
Works well, lots of torque. Be careful tightening in tight spots, your fingers will thank you.

Buy this. Don't question if you would use it, buy it.
I bought into the Dewalt ecosystem a few decades ago and have stuck with the brand because they make good tools, and having one system for your entire cordless tool set is a handy feature. I have the drills, the hammer drills, oscillating saws, and sanders, and likely more that I'm forgetting, and they all work very well. I was watching a video to learn how to replace something in my kid's car when I saw the kid in the video was using one of these cordless ratchets. The old man in me went down the typical road of "dang kids. Why can't they use the old standard ratchets like the rest of us instead of using electric tools?!" Then I remembered having to take pain pills to make my hands feel better after working on the car the previous day, and ordered one. This was a moment when you want to kick yourself for being stubborn. This is just like a big ratchet but instead of having to move, you can just put it where you need it and click the trigger. It's fast, strong, and the charge lasts long enough for even big jobs. This one comes with the 3/8 and 1/2 inch socket, a battery, bag, and charger. For the price, you get a lot of tool that will likely become your favorite. Even if I had not invested in the ecosystem, this alone may have been enough to make me convert. It is literally my favorite tool.

I love this tool. One of my top 5 daily used tools.
I love this ratchet and since buying this one I also bought one more for my grandpa because when you work on tractors out in the field it gets tough in tight places but with this i feel like im spoiled and get to work with ease while it does all the tightening and loosening. Absolutely love dewalt products and this was another great one to add to my collection best bang for your buck its well worth it. The grip and feel of this ratchet compared to the m12 and m18 is far more comfortable and durable than you could imagine. Id buy 10 more of these for backups if i could between this and my 3in cutoff saw I can do just about anything without taking it to the shop.

Great Torque Wrench :)
The build quality is A+, in terms of value, got it for a good deal when it was on sale, id wait for a good sale but very happy with it, the size of the rachet is nice, looks like any DeWalt tool with the black/yellow design lol, torques & bust stubborn bolts with ease, functionality all depends on how hard you pull the trigger but no complaints here, works as designed.

Extremely Helpful - With the Right Battery
I used this DeWalt ratchet for a day of automotive work. It was mostly used for loosening and tightening body and chassis fasteners (Torx 40) and smaller and lower-torque levels < 35 Nm. The tool is very precise and handy. Its format is relatively light and can access small spaces easily. Swapping sockets was smooth and changing direction was easy. The battery allowed about 3 hours of use. I was not using this tool alone and was a bit surprised it could not last the day. I had a spare that was also quickly dry.... I will buy a new DeWalt 20V Li battery and re-test. Bottom line: Tool is excellent and battery need to match up.
