Wish I'd bought one ages ago
As a pretty avid DIY handyman, I don't know how I made it this long without one of these tools. But with a big basement renovation project after a flood, I had a lot of demo and drywall work to do, and finally decided to pick one up. I have a bunch of other Bosch 18V tools, so naturally I gravitated to Bosch's offering.I was impressed by how useful this tool is - it quickly rips through even the old-growth studs in my old house like butter, and makes short work of drywall. More than enough power for cutting easily through everything I've set it against The grip is comfortable and it is easy to maneuver in tight spots.Battery life is pretty good, I get a couple of hours of intermittent use out of a 2Ah battery. A bigger battery would of course last longer, but makes the tool heavier, so I'm ok with swapping small batteries more frequently. For the money I spent, I'm very satisfied with this tool. Bosch generally makes good power tools, and this one is no exception.

Excellent performance, worth the money
You may or may not like that it requires Bosch specific blades but the thing is an excellent performer, especially if you are going to use it for long periods. The balance is good and the vibration-reduction is valuable. It is variable speed, can put blades at 90 degree angles (like cutting a metal pipe from within the pipe - priceless), and the blades are high quality even if not cheap. Using this thing to remove/trim poorly applied caulk - vs. using a knife - is like a hot knife through butter. Cutting tools (which can be dangerous) are one thing your should always buy quality. I'm not saying other manufacturers aren't, but this is a quality tool.

Great tool
Love this tool. Very heavy but feels good in your hand. The only thing that would make this better is a vacuum port for the dust

Great weight, solid, easy tool change
Like everyone else, I wish I'd have bought one of these a decade ago. Solid tool, great balance and weight, doesn't vibrate too much. Sorta wish I'd have gotten the 4Ah battery, but I have an ecosystem of Bosch tools so a few 2Ah packs are always charged. Solid kit

A Good Update
This tool is designed better than the previous version, you can see your battery life indicator without removing the battery, it can get into more tight spaces, it has the ability to turn the light on by moving the switch to the first position without actually turning the saw on which can be very helpful for getting your cuts lined up if you're working in a dark or confined space such as under a cabinet. The battery fits much tighter in this one than the last generation which drastically helps reduce the level of vibration when using. Quality update, definitely worth picking up, I would even recommend picking it up if you already have the last generation and are looking for a little bit better quality tool. The blade change mechanism on Bosch's multi-tools is second to none and should be the industry standard

Useful when it works
This is a really cool tool. I was remodeling my kitchen and needed a really odd shaped tool to make some cuts on hard to reach places on both wood and metal. Remembered my uncle had something like this, and looked it up. I have Bosch tools so naturally I got theirs. It's a really great device with lots of pieces you can buy and great functionality. Unfortunately for some of what AI was doing the machine would stall. Probably a safety feature, which I'm generally all for, but getting it to turn back on sometimes requires removing that battery to reset the thing. That was real annoying.

Oscillating tools have came a looooooooong way.
I remember my first oscillating being loud and having poor/no dampening, to the point where there would ghost sensations after using it for extended periods of time. This Bosch tool is lightyears ahead of my old oscillating tool. To start, the tool is very light -- even with the battery. The battery life is fantastic and what you would expect from a Bosh product. The vibrations are almost nonexistent, which makes using this tool for extended periods of time a joy. When you pair the lightweight nature of it, with the dampening quality of the tool, you can make easy precise cuts without issue.

Solid, High Quality Tool
I own a corded Fein MultiMaster and I ordered and tried a Makita sub-compact cordless multitool, as I have a couple of tools I like from that line. I did not like the Makita due to the Starlock device they use and the unit did not feel quite balanced to me, so I returned it. The Bosch Starlock device is the best of these three and I don't doubt the best of any multi tool. The Bosch is like other Bosch tools, smooth motor, low vibration, thoughtful ergonmics. The Bosch 18v battery tools are generally great and this is maybe my favorite hand power tool from Bosch: well worth the price, particularly if you can use an extra 4Ah battery and charger, as was my case. It is as good a sander as it is a saw for the kind of work it's intended to do. Plenty of power and versatile.
