Amazing
Though I have one complaint, I'm still giving the headphones 5 stars due to their excellence in fidelity. I am astonished. The bass response is felt in your feet, from the upright to the short - scale to the fretless Jazz Bass and the Rickenbacker and its wide dynamic range. On the other end of the spectrum, the highs come through bright and clear as you feel your eardrums get warm from the friction of the vibes. Phil Collins' cymbals from 1970's era Genesis are crystal. Ok, time for the bummer. One of the cables that come with them (one has a built-in microphone, the other does not, and this is the one about which I am writing) is way too short. Yes, the longer the higher the resistance, etc., but c'mon. I require more than a meter/m.5 to do my DAW work properly, especially when I use them while playing guitars - why wouldn't I use them with that? These probably have the very best fidelity I've heard, and I say probably because maybe I have listened to more responsive headphones though I don't remember makes/models if that is so. Final verdict. Get these.

Best headphones I have ever owned!
I'll start by saying I am not an audiophile. I bought these headphones based on the great reviews, of which this is another one. All of the good things the reviewers said are true. The sound is incredible. I hear things in songs that I never heard / noticed before as if I am truly hearing it for the first time. I find myself wanting to get to the next song to experience what new things I will hear. I notice the mix of the song and the placement of the instruments in the soundscape. It is quite amazing. The over ear headphones fit my ears perfectly and are very comfortable wearing for long periods of time. I love the detachable cord so it can be easily replaced if damaged. The headphones are solid and well built and feel like they will last. These headphones are well worth the cost and I will be using them exclusively for serious music listening from now on.

Love these headphones, great sound stage!
I was just trying to find a comfortable set of wired headphones with a decent microphone for my work laptop when I saw these on sale and decided to give them a go...and I am so happy that I did! These have taken the place of my Bose QuietComfort 35II when listening to music, which I thoroughly enjoy, but they lack the expansive sound stage and deep bass that the ov21's are able to convey. I really like the sound of these and they are very comfortable. I found that I can also listen for hours without my ears getting fatigued, and they were a great buy to boot!

Very Nice
Phones look classy and you get a great sound out of them too. Can be used for mixing or casual listening. If you want a cost-efficient hard case for them, they fit snugly into the LLTGEM "Headphone Headset Case Compatible with JBL, Beats, Sony, Soundcore Anker etc. et al."

Solid In-ears!
Iv'e had Thinksound in-ears for a while now. The TS-02's, Rain 3's, the On1's, On2's, and the OV 21's. So yes, I am a fan of Thinksound. Aaron sent me the TS 02's while I was deployed to Afghanistan in 2013 when I started looking for a replacement set when my other set shorted out on the right side. Aaron, thanks again. When Thinksound came back, I put the In 20's on pre-order right away. They look and sound like the Rains, but slightly retuned. Just a little cleaner and just a touch more bass. And they are small and light. Once they are in, I almost forget they are in except I'm isolated form the outside world. The do a good job with passive sound isolating. Very good for my music library, worth it! Aaron, if you read this, tried to review the OV 21's on here and Amazon block me, only verifed purchases.

Wanted to like them
I returned this item (in20 WIRED IN-EARS) as I believe it was broken or had a defect, because the midbass frequencies were way, way, way too prominent. It nearly gave me a headache. It's a shame as there was some really nice clarity in the upper mids and treble that I wasn't expecting. I really wanted to like these, but the midbass was way out of whack. I bought the ov 21 Headphones when I purchased the in20's, and am listening to them as I type this. I have had them for over a year now. I like them. They are comfortable, and do a pretty good job blocking out surrounding noises. No issues with build quality. The wooden backs on the earcups are nice. Good clean bass that doesn't muddy up the midrange. Lots of treble energy, but never painfully so. I'd consider it a V shaped sound, but the mids are never lost. I like the detail they present. I never feel claustrophobic with the soundstage. I wouldn't use them for mastering or studio work, but enjoy them for listening to music.

Beautiful! USE THE CLIP!
Goodness, these sound beautiful to my ears. Be sure to use the clip provided per the instructions as there's a noticeable difference in the sound quality. I've purchased 2 pairs of these as I'm enjoying them this much and I'm confident one of my 3 fur babies will get to these eventually. Enjoy the music and love each other 🎶

Simplify your search- read this!!
I returned two other sets of headphones before finding these. If you want a traditional pair of earbuds but with really good noise reduction (no noise cancellation setting) but I use them in the gym where they blast crappy music and on medium volume iPhone/spotify I literally can only hear my music. The sound quality is excellent as well, if your an audiophile weirdo idk but for the average person very very good, goes more than loud enough with a strong but balanced bass. I will buy these as long as they make them no question.

I've had this for a solid while now, and have been meaning to write a review. I gave these pretty much every chance, replaced cables, cleaned ports etc., and eventually I've had to just face the harsh reality that these are really average. - The sound is a bit thin - The bass is definitely lacking no matter how you switch the EQ - listen to "Mel Made Me Do It" by Stormzy (imo best Bass going) - these barely pick the deep frequencies up at all. - Music overall just sounds a bit weird on them? As a professional audiovisual producer, I bought them as a lightweight pair for music recording/mixing, but I just can't trust them with the mix, the quality just isn't good enough. They look great, I love the wooden aesthetic, they're super comfy can wear for ages, and are a good size. The cable I got was a bit dodgy, good length, but can't be sure it was the cable's fault (but it is still my best guess, and has since stopped working). Dropping £200+ pounds on these feels like a bit of a robbery. £80 would be the max I'd pay for them. They feel like a decent pair of headphones wrapped up nicely for the price of a high range set. Sadly, really cannot recommend, if you're willing to splash the cash these cost, I'd genuinely suggest looking elsewhere. Would love to hear thoughts of owners! I know this is a small independent business with a good mission, really why I bought from them, so I really, really wanted to be able to give a positive review.

I love these headphones. The thinksound ov21 headphones boast a top-notch build quality, a comfortable fit, and an intricate sound profile. While I've owned several over-ear headphones, the ov21 is admittedyly my inaugural experience in the world of audiophile-grade sound. So, I put a lot of research into this purchase. My music has never resonated so vibrantly, revealing layers I hadn't appreciated before. Despite being closed-back, the ov21 delivers a vast soundstage with clear instrument differentiation and layering. As the reviews online indicate, their value significantly exceeds their cost, and they offer a great experience,. Aesthetically, they stand out with their minimalist yet sturdy design and premium materials. Bottom line — they offer a superb listening experience worth every penny.

Ordered these headphones and they came the very next day. Packaging was tasteful and didn't leave me with a lot of waste, which I appreciate. Black box can be repurposed, a small thing perhaps, but an important one for me. Headphones look amazing and the sound is superb. They're very comfortable. I've been wearing them while I work and their fit and sound really has helped me concentrate. Totally recommend them if you are looking to buy a high quality product.

Quick delivery with no damage to the box. The headphones were packaged nicely. I purchased these headphones as a replacement for my old Pioneer headphones (at least 30 years old!) based on a recommendation after watching a You Tube video by Isaac Brown. I was very disappointed in the length of the provided cables, really, only 4' long. These are not nearly long enough for connecting to a stereo receiver. I guess Thinksound intended these headphones to be used connecting to a computer or other device that has a 3.5mm connection. Upon connecting these headphones to my Vintage Pioneer Receiver using the 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter that was provided, I found that I was not getting any sound from the right hand channel. I switched cables, as two are provided, and had the same result. As I played with the cable I would intermittently get sound from the right channel but as soon as I released the cable from my fingers the right channel would drop out. My suspicion was that there was a problem with the adapter. I was about to return the headphones to Amazon, but decided to order a 10 foot, 3.5mm to 1/4" cable, (no adapter necessary), to see if this would correct the issue. The cable arrived the next day and sure enough this solved the problem. I was very impressed with the sound quality of these headphones. In my opinion these headphones sound as good or better than others I have demo'd at twice the price. If these are in your price range I would highly recommend them. However, do not be surprised if the 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter gives you trouble. Hence only 3 stars, due to the inconvenience of having to purchase a cable.

They are comfy for longer listening sessions. Build quality is very good. Sound - bass way too boosted. It overwhelmed the rest of the soundscape. This could be remedied by an equalizer or careful matching with a headphone amp that is a bit "thin" in its presentation (or at least very neutral sounding). Overall a good value for the price.
