Go for this automatic one vs. the lever dispenser!
I have two kids who I swear, BATH in the toothpaste. I am constantly cleaning the toothpaste cap area, the vanity, the sink, etc. and it gets extremely tiring. My eldest hates using the same toothpaste as the youngest child as she's just wild. Literal wild.So I ended up ordering the toothpaste dispenser that sticks on, just like this one, and has a lever at the bottom. You push your toothbrush against said lever, and the toothpaste dispenses on the toothbrush. Guess how well that worked out? They couldn't get it to work, and when they did, I had toothpaste all over the dispenser and I had to take it apart piece by piece to clean. Pain! I ended up taking it off and the kids stopped using it fully, but then I was left with toothpaste that were oozing onto my vanity. It was then I went back to Amazon and found this beautiful electric toothpaste dispenser! Super cheap price, and when I got it in, I had already made sure to buy a toothpaste that had a twist cap (so it would fit into the top). It was SO easy to install. Stick the adhesive on, stick on the device, and it does come with a u charger to charge it, but the charging cable is super short. I had a long one, and left it attached to the kids bathroom mirror, and plugged in my cord. It charged overnight, and by morning the light was green and ready to go!One push of the button and the light flashes green, meaning it's on, and if you want to turn it off, push again, and you'll see a red light flash.I attached the toothpaste per the directions....ok...technically I did it without the directions thinking it was like the push lever one, and no. No it wasn't, and I ended up squishing toothpaste everywhere. LOL! Read the directions, got the toothpaste in, and boom! It works so lovely!!!!! I no longer have toothpaste all over the vanity. No more sticky toothpaste oozing it out of the package that I have to scrape off. This has been wonderful!!!And this dispenser comes with a clear plastic cover on the bottom that you can TAKE OFF!!! Press the side button so the red light flashes, meaning it's off, then take the clear plastic piece off the bottom, wash it, dry it, slide it back on, and press the button again until the green light flashes and it's ready to go again! How amazing!!!! And the battery has lasted a solid month so far with no charging!! I will charge it soon, but I was curious to how long it would last. This has been the best lifesaver for my sanity. The kids do comment that it spits out too much toothpaste, but I'll take that any day!

Not consistent
I bought this so I’d have less of a mess to clean up but I’m doing about the same amount of cleaning and changing out tubes more often. Even though it comes with two additional dispensing cap sizes, it doesn’t consistently dispense toothpaste and sometimes not at all without multiple attempts. I’ve tried different toothpaste brands and still run into the same problems even with a full tube.. Sometimes there’s a delay in dispensing so if you’re impatient like my children are, you hit the sensor again and either get a larger than needed amount or the paste lands on the dock. I gave this thing a solid month but it’s not worth the hassle or twenty something dollars I paid. I’d rather have a messy countertop and messy toothpaste tube than deal with this thing. I honestly don’t know how it got so many good reviews apart from being sponsored content. Pass!

Convenience meets innovation
The media could not be loaded. After incorporating the automatic toothpaste dispenser into my daily routine, I've noticed a significant uptick in convenience and efficiency. The hands-free operation is a standout feature, allowing for a seamless toothpaste application every time with just the press of a toothbrush against the lever. This not only helps maintain a cleaner sink area without the mess of toothpaste caps and streaks but also ensures that I get the perfect amount of toothpaste with minimal waste. The installation was a breeze, with no need for complex tools or procedures. It adhered to my bathroom wall with sturdy, damage-free adhesive strips, which was a relief as I didn't want to drill holes or deal with suction cups that could slip over. While I had my doubts about the hygiene aspect, I was pleasantly surprised. The device is designed to keep the toothpaste tube enclosed, limiting exposure to germs.

2 of 3 Did not Work
This product never worked as it should. It does not dispense toothpaste as it claims. Waste of money.

Inconsistent
The idea behind this product is great, I only wish it worked well. For starters, the product comes with 3 different washers to adjust the amount of toothpaste dispensed, but they all dispensed too much toothpaste for my kids. We solved this problem by sanding down one of the washers until it produced the right amount. Unfortunately, the amount of toothpaste dispensed isn't consistent, and sometimes the toothpaste doesn't fall from the dispenser right away. It helped a little when I cleaned the dispensing cap, but it's still hard for the kids to get their brush in just the right place to catch the toothpaste. I wish this worked like I'd hoped because I was excited about the prospect of not worrying about the kids sharing germs by sharing the same tube of toothpaste. I can't recommend this product though.

Good automatic toothpaste dispenser
I really like how you can mount this dispenser on your mirror or on your counter. The best part about it is that it has a removable plastic bottom part so when toothpaste gets on there (where it inevitably will) you can simply remove the plastic part and wash it off. For most other dispensers, it is a nightmare to clean, but this thing is a breeze. It is also rechargeable with a USB C cable which is great. The bad part is it does not dispense a lot of toothpaste. Sometimes I have to do it twice to get enough toothpaste but overall I am happy with the product.

This is nifty
I like it very much. It’s neat.It was just as pictured. It’s extremely easy to use. It has a tray where you place your toothbrush which slides out for cleaning. Before you do though hit the power button on the right side so you don’t get unintended dispense of toothpaste. It comes with adhesive hook so you can stick it to your wall.It has a piece of gold trim which just because of personal preference I was able to remove to paint another color.

excellent for 9 months
Loved it until it quit 9 months in. Took it apart and it appears that some of the contacts are corroded. Shouldn't a bathroom item be built to withstand moisture??? I did like though so I will order another one and give it a second chance.

Bit of a learning curve
Now that we've got the timing right we're happy with it for the most part but it definitely takes practice to learn which is why the 4 instead of 5. It also gives quite a bit more toothpaste than needed which is pretty wasteful.

No amount/size of paste squeeze
I dont recommend it as it is wasting my toothpaste too much. The amount of toothpaste that squeezed is a lot. 1 squeeze equivalent to 2-3 people can use. It will be better if there is choices of size so no wasting toothpaste.

GARBAGE, DOES NOT WORK!
I followed the setup functions carefully, and after squeezing a bit out and loading the toothpaste, it works once. The I have to take it apart and do it all again to get it to work once more. If it is me doing something wrong, then they need to make this easier to use, because it is USELESS to me.

Look nice but that’s it, not worth the money!
Very quickly ran out out battery, need to charge constantly, not recommend to buy. Don’t know what to do with it now, can’t throw in the garbage, so don’t know what to do.
