I purchased this to make a few shelves for the cats to use. I wanted something that could support a good amount of weight. These are perhaps overkill, but given the hefty weight of a few of my cats, I'm glad I used these. It also allows me to hang items from the bottom of the shelfs. Very helpful!

Heavy duty support
These are heavy duty and it will hold up your shelf without worrying about it falling down 2 screws into a stud on both sides i used these to put my shelves back up that collapsed in my master walk in closet and i don't have to worry about what my wife puts up there

heavy duty brackets
Used brackets for shelving in pantry. Exceptional brackets for holding heavy weight as I have cast iron skillets, heavy duty cookware and stoneware. Shelves did not sag even a little bit! Extremely happy with purchase!

Seemingly sturdy, installation hardware meh
I used these shelving brackets with a 12x1 sized board to put up some shelves. I was extremely pleased with these when installing directly into a stud but ran into the anchors being quite brittle when installing into drywall. These brackets feel extremely sturdy for their design, of course you won't get the strength of a triangular bracket which you should use if extreme weight is going on the shelf. I've got about 50 pounds per bracket when installing them 2 feet apart and I feel confident they'll stand the test of time.I got these at a reduced price through in return for reviewing but the above is my honest opinion, I'm happy with these brackets and will put them at the top of my list for buying more at full price when I need more shelving.

Very sturdy
These arrived and I was very pleased with the items. They are going to work great for mounting in my work shed and attaching a 12 inch wide board to make some really nice shelves that are deep enough to actually be able to store a decent size item on. The holes are spaced apart enough to add better security for mounting to add the strength needed to put fair amount of weight on, as long as you don't put a hanger on each end and put 10 foot between them. I believe one every 4-5 foot ought to be enough to place a bunch of items/weight on and not cause them to collapse on you. I believe these are great and well worth the price.
