Good quality
Very pleased with my purchase. Fits securely on to dogs collar and I don’t worry it’s going to fall off like the last one (different make) Brilliant bit of kit.

Great AirTag holder for dogs that easily mat
This AirTag holder is great, especially if you have a dog with fur that mats easily (eg doodle). I struggled for a long time trying to find one that wasn’t silicone or would be super secure. The only minor drawback is it’s a bit fiddly to change the AirTag battery and it’s such a shame it doesn’t come in any other colours.

Perfect!!
Maggie likes a bit of bling so any AirTag holder had to work with her jewelled collar! This one is just perfect for a secure but discrete AirTag holder for a small dog (her fighting weight is 6.5kgs). Comes with everything needed to fit on collar, including clear instructions. Couldn’t ask for more and meets Maggie’s strict requirements too!

Good but expensive
Good item, well made and easy to install. Probably slightly too expensive for what it is

Overpriced, but excellent quality
When you initially open this product, there is definitely a feeling of disappointment when you realise it’s a couple of bits of plastic for a relatively high price. However. It fits perfectly to our dogs collar and is very secure. We have a very high energy cockerpoo who loves running around at full speed. Never once has this come loose and it still looks like new despite going on lots of adventures. So in conclusion, it’s not cheap, but the quality is very good.

Back plate where the screws go broke!!!
This is great for the apple I tag for the dogs collar. It’s really waterproof and screws through the collar so stays firmly in place and doesn’t get caught on branches or anything when the dog goes through the undergrowth. Only reason it lost two stars is because it’s really expensive more than I paid for the I tag! And no implement to tighten screws with! This first one I bought came with a screwdriver. This is the second one I bought, when I needed to change the dogs collar and put it on the new collar the back plate where the screws go broke!!! It needs to come with a spare back plate or to be able to buy some new ones, other wise every time you change the battery in the i tag or change the dogs collar you need to buy the whole kit again! Works out very expensive!

Needs a special star shaped screwdriver!
It’s good but overpriced. Plus it needs a star shaped screwdriver to tighten the screws, which was not included. Luckily I have some but most people don’t.

When looking for an Air Tag holder to put on a dog collar, I was looking for something waterproof/watertight, snug fitting (to the collar), and neither easily removable nor identifiable. The TagVault checked all these boxes so I purchased a 2-pack. I installed these on poly-coated nylon collars. I initially installed them on 7-year old collars (same material but definitely aged) and the screws that secure the brace (back) to the vault cut through the material easily. When reinstalling the vaults on new collars, I needed to punch a small hole in the material with a small nail first. The material of the vault is hard but not brittle. I don’t anticipate that these will crack or break with seasonal changes or exposure to weather. I was impressed by the torx screwdriver they provided. It certainly won’t be a long-lasting tool, but the tip of the tail (? The part you hold) rotates so you can push with your palm and turn the rest with your fingers. It’s not fancy by any means, but it’s a feature I look for when purchasing drivers; they were thoughtful about providing a tool that makes the installation easier and more secure. They also used decent quality torx screws instead of a) cheap screws and/or b) Phillips, which usually strip out quickly, especially on tiny screw heads. One thing I found myself wishing during both installations was that there would be a tiny bit of play on the brace (slightly oblong holes, for instance). It’s likely easier to adjust the screw placement on woven fiber collars than it was on my stiff nylon ones, but I found that some finagling (tightening screws, backing out, alternating screw turns, etc) was necessary to ensure that the both screws were installed straight & the heads were flush to back brace. As the brace is, the screw hole is the exact size of the screw head, so there’s no margin for error in terms of screw placement (on rigid material). All in all, I’m satisfied with the tag vault so far. I paid $35 for a 2-pack and, despite recognizing that it appears to be a thoughtfully designed product made with decent quality materials, I think it’s over-priced at that price-point. I certainly wouldn’t pay more for the product. I believe that, at the time of this review, the price dropped to around $28/2-pack. I think $25-$26 is a fair price that would still allow for a significant profit margin.

These have been on my 2 German Shepherd dogs for 9 months. They roughly play fight constantly. They swim and paddle board with these on. Very tough, durable and waterproof. Highly recommend.
