Great for dog groomer
Works great and holds a good charge. Use it in a grooming business all day long. Nice and light weight. Can hold it with my smaller hands all day.

Durable good value for the money
This is a great Rotary tool. I have a Dremel corded tool But I needed a cordless so I researched The tools that are out there and this one best suit my needs. I like that. You can select a speed that you need. It's not variable. It charges USB C It comes with a few attachments that work great. And some starter bits. Easy to use and good value for the money.

Performance and quality well above expected for the price
When my beloved Dremel Lite finally gave up the ghost (the spindle became unseated making it impossible to keep it true), I wanted to replace it with something that had a little more power behind it. I had heard very good things about the previous generation of the Depstech 8v and this had some features that I haven't seen any other rotaries. I didn't have the biggest budget, so when there was a temporary price drop I went ahead and ordered this with fingers crossed. This thing is an outstanding rotary tool at any price. The motor is a beast. I work a lot with stock reduction of stainless steel and with my carbide burrs, this thing cuts through 304 like butter while the vibration stays very low! Grinding, cutting and sanding, both wood and steel are a pure delight. The ergonomics are very well thought out. It's a bit longer than most in this power range, and it helps tremendously when doing fine detail work. The light attachment is made without threads and can be turned to cast light where you need it without the body getting in the way.My favorite physical feature, however is the spindle lock button. I accidentally hit these buttons on every rotary tool I use more often than I care to admit. I think, in fact, that it's what did the ol Dremel Lite in, eventually. This is never a problem with this tool, as they have designed it such that the spindle lock cannot be engaged while the power button is slid to the on position. I know that for me, this will definitely increase the lifespan of the tool. I doubt I'm alone in that. The battery life is simply phenomenal. As is the charging time. It actually charges far more quickly than the 4v Dremel Lite. I don't know how they managed this. It could be voodoo for all I care.If you're on the fence and need a quality rotary tool to do hard jobs, this is the one you want!

The LED light is the best around
-It's crazy but the LED light on this is the best I've found. Most rotaries have LED lights built into the tool, which means the tool has no threads for attachments like guards and angle adapters. This tool however HAS threads AND a detachable LED. The best of both worlds! I haven't found any other rotary with this kind of light, and I can't find anything like it for sale by itself.-The tool itself is strong enough for light to medium duty jobs. It did end up powering down a few times while I was cutting 1/4" steel screws too fast, so I had to learn to slow down. (Which is good to prevent shattering the wheel anyway).-The speed CANNOT be controlled without the being motor ON, which is a big flaw.-The case is kinda weird and has a lot of dead space, not as compact as it could be.-The accessories work well-Overall this is a great purchase, if just for the LED!

Lightweight. Convenient. But definitely not Quiet
The media could not be loaded. I have a coreded depstech rotary tool and it works amazing. The only downside on that one was the cord itself. So I was in the market to buy a cordless rotary tool, and I seen that Depstech now has a cordless version so I bit the bullet and got it and boy does it come in Handy! It is a heavier in the hand than the corded version (as the internal battery is a deceny weight) but over not by much. Maybe using for longer periods of time I would be able to tell, but I mainly use the cordless one for quick and easy sanding or cutting jobs. The one thing I noticed, after setting the rotary tool to anything higher than 20,000 RPM it does get a little loud (you definitely can hear it in my video). But nontheless, at least it works and I have yet to have to charge it even after using it for about 2-3 full hours of work (still at 50%)Overall: My rating is a 9/10. Only downside is the noise. But other than that I do recommend this product and would definitely buy again.

Something to think about, overheated and stopped working
I’m very excited about the product and all it can do. I like that it has a battery and doesn’t need to be plugged in. I find that that the battery operated tools have more energy than I do at this age.Unfortunately, the product has overheating twice already on a very small project. Works well
For the money this thing is pretty awesome. It's not as big as my 12v and works great for small projects. I keep it in my rc pit bag and so far so good.
