Handmade Glass Dip Pen

Bought it use with watercolour and it works a treat. Beautiful item, well made and comfortable in use. Little pricy perhaps but worth it I think

I'd never heard of glass pens until I came across a YouTube video testing one. I was immediately impressed at how spiral groves in the "nib" end could hold so much ink and produce beautiful continuous line So on googling, i came across this product. This is a beautiful to look at, and a joy to hold. This is a tactical instrument and beautifully balanced. And it is so satisfying to draw with! That constant line can be so useful. Also, it is fantastic for stippling- application of repeated dots of ink. I really love this. Metal nib pens will give you variations in width by pressure, but this delivers a constant width no matter what. Both are useful in different circumstances. This is a quality drawing tool, and I look forward to exploring "fixed width" lines - and it holds ink beautifully!!

The one I have is not smooth on the paper. Still an excellent price for use in drawing and for a handmade product. Excellent to clean. Beautiful.

One dip lasts ages with this pen, it’s nicely balanced in the hand and writes evenly and without any ink blobs. It pulls ink up into the grooves as it should and I’m very pleased with it and will get another - wish they did more colours though. It came beautifully packaged too in a strong box with foam padding. I’m Pleased with this. I want it for detail work in drawings but it’s so nice to write with I’ll try it for letters as well. I can recommend, and I would buy it again.

If you like to use real ink and don't want to have to keep swapping cartridges to add colour to your writing then this pen is the answer to your problem. The nib is ridged and will hold a fair amount of ink. It is a little scratchy on the paper, but I have very small handwriting so the nib on this really suits my handwriting. Simply wash off in between colours. I bought the turquoise one, I am now thinking that this is actually better than the fountain pens I have, as I love adding colour to all my cards and letters and it is so much easier than having to flush the fountain pens out.

I am thought what a lovely writing instrument, smooth and holding ink enough to write several lines. It was just then that the tip snapped off and flew away. This is not adorable pen and I am returning it.

Picks up ink nicely but the end seems chipped slightly making it so 2 of the ink well groves hold but dont release ink, imo this is a waste of ink each dip so will be spending a bit more and getting something hopefully better quality. However not bad per se and was good enough to let me know i like glass ink pens, if you cant afford higher quality this will do the job, if you can afford it, spend a little more

I'm pretty new to using inks, and I was interested in trying glass pens out. It works fine (not like much could go wrong with a glass stick) and looks fancy. Will make you feel 9 times cooler when drawing trust

Una passada, com a la foto, és molt agradable de fer servir, molt elegant i sembla de molt bona qualitat. Ve amb una capsa llisa blanca de cartró molt bonica que queda molt bé per a fer un regal. Genial.

Es mi primera pluma de este tipo. Me sorprendió cuanta tinta puede cargar. Escribe entre mediano y fino. Se siente como si se escribiera con un lápiz afilado. La punta está muy bien terminada.

Sono una artista e amo scrivere con penna ed inchiostro. E devo dire che questa penna in vetro è adorabile. Ovviamente non all'altezza dei prodotti di Murano ma il rapporto qualità prezzo è più che soddisfacente.

Holds a lot of ink. Very surprised how well it writes.
