Solid, High Quality Tool
I own a corded Fein MultiMaster and I ordered and tried a Makita sub-compact cordless multitool, as I have a couple of tools I like from that line. I did not like the Makita due to the Starlock device they use and the unit did not feel quite balanced to me, so I returned it. The Bosch Starlock device is the best of these three and I don't doubt the best of any multi tool. The Bosch is like other Bosch tools, smooth motor, low vibration, thoughtful ergonmics. The Bosch 18v battery tools are generally great and this is maybe my favorite hand power tool from Bosch: well worth the price, particularly if you can use an extra 4Ah battery and charger, as was my case. It is as good a sander as it is a saw for the kind of work it's intended to do. Plenty of power and versatile.

I have used the Bosch unit a few times and it is working well. Easy to change out blades.

Great Tool!
I use it a lot... in so many ways on so many different things. Wish I had bought one years ago. Got the slightly larger battery, since it was on sale. The extra weight doesn’t seem to be an issue. The tool is designed to balance the weight when held, so it feels lighter in your hand than it is. And the extra battery power and life is nice. All the quality you’d expect from Bosch. Definitely recommend!

Well thought out.
The rotated battery makes it easier to get in flush to the cut surface and the starlock blade interchange is by far the easiest to use of all the manufacturers.

Excellent performance, worth the money
You may or may not like that it requires Bosch specific blades but the thing is an excellent performer, especially if you are going to use it for long periods. The balance is good and the vibration-reduction is valuable. It is variable speed, can put blades at 90 degree angles (like cutting a metal pipe from within the pipe - priceless), and the blades are high quality even if not cheap. Using this thing to remove/trim poorly applied caulk - vs. using a knife - is like a hot knife through butter. Cutting tools (which can be dangerous) are one thing your should always buy quality. I'm not saying other manufacturers aren't, but this is a quality tool.

Great tool
Love this tool. Very heavy but feels good in your hand. The only thing that would make this better is a vacuum port for the dust

Cant go wrong with Bosch tools.
You can never go wrong with Bosch power tools. Haven't used the tool yet but I know it will work flawlessly.

So far I've used it for cutting some drywall and baseboards and sanded a bit. The tool is not too heavy and the size of the grip is perfect. I like the dual stage switch that turns on the light first and then the actual tool. The tool also always starts in soft start mode , so it's not directly at full speed from clicking it on. Battery lasts quite long and is charged very fast up to 80 percent of the capacity and the rest is done slower to safe the battery life. Build quality is great and the mechanism to change blades is super easy to use and it's nice to not touch the hot blade at all. The only thing that I have to criticize is that Bosch doesn't offer the tool being sold in a version including an LBoxx like almost everywhere else.
