Artificial Plants

Not all of us can grow aquarium plants. Still need plants to break sight lines for fish to feel secure. These aquarium plants are perfect. They have a decent length, flexible, and extremely soft. In addition, they look great underwater. Would love if they came in different colors but the green is fine too. If you don't have live plants these are a great substitute. Go for it!

UPDATE: 6 months in with weekly cleanings and I finally had one plant go bad. One stem (there are about 5 per base) finally came unraveled from the rod. I've left it in the tank and whatever the rod is made of has not shown any deterioration. Likewise the loose fabric of the plant is not shedding any it's simply unraveled. The others still show no signs of wear or tear. I could probably fix this one but I'll be ordering another set anyway. These are great! ORIGINAL: I love these plants. I've had them in my tank for about 40 days now (single betta in the tank) and have had no issues with them shedding. I do clean them in hot water weekly and gently pull on the threads to be sure no loose ones are left. I have found a few that came loose and I threw away but nothing has ever been floating in the tank or pulled into my filter. If they do start to deteriorate I will just toss them and buy more as they're a good price and add a very nice look and contrast to the tank if you do fake plants.

It's a different material than I expected, to be honest, it feels like fabric rather than plastic. It is VERY soft, so it's perfect for a betta fish with delicate fins. They were a little too tall for my tank, so I cut the top off of a couple pieces. They're a nice shade of green, and they look pretty in the tank.. The weights at the bottom seem to be made of a clay or rock material, very heavy and sturdy, which might be my favorite part of them. You could place them in a bare bottom tank and they'd sit nicely, so long as the flow or fish didn't knock them over. Side note. They're flat. There's no depth to them, just, completely flat. Like a sheet of fabric. As I said, it looks pretty, but they're not realistically shaped. I did not take a photo of them before adding them to the tank, but honestly it wasn't a deal breaker, it just isn't what I expected. Would be great to place at the back of the tank for a pretty background.

I bought one of these for another tank and my fish love it. They are constantly swimming through it or just chilling it. My loaches really like to wrap themselves in it as well. When I got a new tank, I knew I wanted to get more of these. They are cute and a great color. They are light but I’ve never had a problem with them moving around. I think they look amazing once in the water. I do worry a little about cleaning them, as they don’t feel easy to clean, but I think I’d that’s a problem, I will just buy another pack because they are so cheap. I definitely think they are worth the price!

do not buy. NOT GOOD FOR FISH. especially any type of suckerfish. my 3 yr old healthy plecostomus fed for algae off of this, i eventually noticed his suckers had green fabric attached that he almost inhaled , thankfully he rubbed/sucked on rocks that pulled it off. no way he would have digested that. very pretty plant but NOT WORTH IT

It has been a long time since I have purchased artificial plants for a fish tank and they really are so much more lifelike and natural looking. I purchased these for a betta tank and they are perfect for that as there are no sharp or jagged spots on the plant or its base. The plants are very soft and look extremely realistic in the tank. I did a deep clean of my betta's tank, removed the existing decor and replaced everything. Before I had even finished, Frank (my blue-eyed betta), was investigating these plants and decided they were good enough to nap in. This is the first time I have seen him nap in a plant and the tank was planted with live plants previously. I am very pleased.

When I first saw these at the store I was really hesitant to buy them because I didn’t think they looked very pretty in the package. I decided to buy them on Amazon just to give them a try and I And I’m so glad I did. I have bought almost every artificial plant for my aquarium and have never been satisfied with Artificial plant. Once they’re in the water they sway really beautifully with the current and they look so lifelike. That the only thing that I don’t like is that there really fragile and that you need several to group together so there really noticeable. I have tried almost every artificial plants from my aquarium and spent hundreds of dollars on them. This is the most life like I’ve had before and I am buying more because I want them all over my aquarium. It’s too bad that they looks so cheap in the packaging because once they’re in the water They’re gorgeous I’ve already ordered a lot more and I’m going to use them as the main artificial plant my aquarium.

Very nice, but only good for smaller tanks if you want protection for your fry

this is a beautiful plant, I love the way it sways in the currant of the tank, it almost looks real.

I am totally happy with these plants, they blend well with the real plants in my tank, creating a realistic background, and they are soft so move a little with the movement of the water.

Great addition to my tank. I like how they move with the current. The quality makes up for the price.

I love these plants made so light they catch the currents and flow around so lifelike. They are very realistic! It is nice to not have to anchor them they are naturally weighted to stay down. I pulled a star as the fibres are coming off as my goldfish are sucking on them to get algae off the plants. I am concerned the loose fine leaves will be ingested at some point and hurt the fish. There isn't a lot, but gold fish might be a little rough on the plants.. so maybe better for smaller less algae aggressive fish?
