Amazing tiny TV
This 5" TV set is an absolute technical marvel. Crisp clear picture. I do have some suggestions for accessories that work you can find on Amazon:1.) APPS2Car GPS Car Truck Mount. Gives you a sturdy easy to use mount that does not interfere with signal or TV controls. The mount on the TV is a bit flimsy and harder to use.2.) 34W Car charger adapter. This is a voltage regulated charger that will run the TV off a cigarette lighter socket for unlimited run time. Set it to 12volts and it produces 12.5 volts which the TV runs on just fine. Use the middle size of the 3 yellow tipped plugs included with it. Remember, however, that this TV as well as any other ATSC TV set will not work in a moving vehicle-antenna has to be motionless-one of the few drawbacks of our current digital TV standard in the US.

Outstanding Picture Quality Coupled With Ease of Setup
The picture quality is excellent, with good color accuracy, saturation, and contrast. Reception sensitivity is also excellent. Setup is fast and almost automatic. Make sure you have your antenna firmly connected before turning the unit on! Page six of the manual under “Channel Menu” explains everything step by step. When power is on, a red LED glows. Blinking red indicates charging, steady red indicates charged. Remote is large enough, not microscopic on some portable electronics. Everything is clearly labeled on the unit and remote. The pull out “kickstand” like support has a limited range of viewing angles. Also included is an elaborate adjustable base with a suction cup type of base. Unfortunately the manual doesn’t tell you how to attach or use it, but there is a provision for screwing it onto the back. The viewing area was larger than we expected. All in all an amazing little TV with many other video possibilities. We wish the antenna base was weighted. Highly recommended little TV with amazing picture quality!

Your experience may vary.
The first thing that I liked to see is that they give you 2 antennas in the box. The external antenna works great and the picture is actually excellent when you get a strong enough signal. With that said, it all depends on where you are. The radio works well, but don't expect quality stero sound. I haven't tried the micro sd card function yet, so I can't comment on that for now.

Very good for my purposes
Impressed with the performance of this TV. I buy sets like this for only one purpose: to have a set I can take down into the basement when the tornado sirens are going off. In the 50 mile radius around my house there are 5 TV stations. (3 commercial, 1 religious and 1 PBS) In the past, the TV's that I've owned have, at best, picked up only 2. Using the telescoping antenna I programed this in the house and it picked up 3. Took it outside and re-programed it using the telescoping antenna and it picked up all 5. Today we experienced a tormado warning, so I got to see how it worked in the basement. I could still recieve 4 of the 5 stations with the telescoping antenna and, I'd bet, if I paired the set with a better antenna, I'd pick up all 5 again. (Which would be kinda over kill since the one it lost was the PBS.)Picture quality was excellent. It would pixalate a bit, but considering it was in my lap, acceptable. Sound quality was good. You can't expect great sound from so small a set of speakers. The only thing I wish it supported was the ability to use AA or AAA batteries to power the set.For my intended purpose, it was very good. Would purchase again.

Great picture quality, very portable. Good for emergencies as well.
I got this small battery powered TV for my bedside nightstand and for reception when there is a power outage due to flood, fire or other natural disasters here in N.C. It comes with a small magnetic mount antenna for a vehicle I presume as well as a telescoping rod antenna for portable use. Both of those antennas work well on the second floor of my condo here in the Triad region of N.C. But I ended up using a flat DTV antenna I already owned and taped it in my upstairs window and plugged it into TV for the best reception and cord management. TV has a very good picture quality and receives all the stations available just fine. I also tried playing a movie on a USB thumbdrive and that worked well, but be sure your movie does not use VBR (variable frame-rate encoding) It only works with constant frame-rate encoding. I usually use earbuds for the sound and listen to TV shows as I get sleepy. In that regard I am quite happy with this tiny TV.

AMAZING Picture!
At the price point, I expected a meh picture. The color saturation, picture quality, and resolution are fantastic. The codec used is great too, so there's no weird anomalies or chunkiness. The picture quality is comparable to a good cell phone. I'm in a fringe area with poor reception, but on my rooftop antenna I was able to find all the channels across 3 major metro areas, and a portable amplified antenna allows me to watch a few of the stronger channels on the fly. I think its a great value for the money. As others have pointed out, a battery meter would have been nice, but its dimensions imply that it probably uses an 18650 lithium ion battery, which has a really good capacity.

Set Your Expectations Low - No, much lower
I understand value for money so I'm not terribly disappointed in this little device, however, unlike its brag I could not get this thing to play mkv files (my preferred format). Otherwise, not too bad. So set your expectations accordingly.Update - won't play any video file regardless of format. My experience. It's a $70 gamble and I lost.
