Naturally I have used a lot of nail care products over the years and would say I find buffer blocks are indeed effective on all four sides, easy to handle and relatively sturdy. Definitely one of the best I have purchased. Gentle on nails. Nail files better than average.

This file copes with even the softest nails and takes off the jagged bits.

This is a useful nail care/buffer kit. Once you have followed the steps on how to use the buffer, the final buffer gives nails a real shine. The only minor point is that on the back of the box it shows how to use the block, however, steps 3 and 4 are the wrong way round, as it should be the red side at step 3 and the final white side at step 4. The steps are shown on the actual buffer, and these are correct and in the right order. Some decent emery boards also included in the box.
