Bridesmaid for Hire Review: Incredibly funny and charming read with the best banter! - I freaking loved Bridesmaid for Hire. It was entertaining and charming with fantastic characters. I loved the antagonistic relationship between Maggie and Brody, their verbal sparring, and watching it morph into something more. I loved the ins and outs of their history, the humor, the drama, and the exciting build to them coming together. There were so many hilarious scenes that had me cracking up, I couldn't get enough. This was an incredible read! I loved Maggie and Brody and the witty barbs thrown between them. I loved how they were thrust together in this unique situation in Bora Bora, creating a countless number of hilarious scenes that had me laughing. I felt so much for Brody, he was such a good guy but could not catch a break and it seemed like the universe was against him while vacationing. This created some incredibly funny moments. I loved Maggie and how tenacious and outgoing she was, she had a heart of gold. I loved learning about their feelings and how long they'd been harboring them. I loved the growing want and need between them and thought there was great development. When their feelings started to come to life and Brody turned on the charm, I pretty much melted. I loved that building heat and sexual tension between them and when it finally unleashes, it was perfection. This baby was steamy hot! There's a lot thrown at Maggie and Brody helping to create a lot of comical, lively moments. I liked the people involved and the various interactions bringing even more humor and a bit of drama and tension. Brody with the guys on the island was fun. I also liked Brody's relationship with Gary, Maggie's brother. It was a true bromance that was really quite sweet. There were characters mentioned from stories I have not read and now I'm excited to go back and read those books as well. I loved this so much. It was laugh-out-loud funny, heartfelt, spicey, and sweet! I am a sucker for great banter and this story excelled with it. I absolutely recommend Bridesmaid for Hire. This book left me smiling and ridiculously happy! Review: Good book - Bridesmaids for Hire was a cute and easy read! It had some fun moments and that classic Meghan Quinn charm that always makes her books enjoyable. The story didn’t completely blow me away, but it was sweet, lighthearted, and perfect for when you’re in the mood for something fun and feel-good.

A witty, comical and heart warming story
Meghan brings another witty, comical and heart warming story to our lives with “Bridesmaid For Hire.” It is so hard not to both hate & laugh at all the karma Brody gets in this story. The passing out from the “snake bite” to the ripped bathing suit shorts. It reall was hard to like him in the beginning of this with how not nice to Maggie he was. Finding out he had feelings for her all along and was hiding them, well that just helped you feel bad for him. Especially with all the trauma he endures on this trip in Bora Bora. All to impress an awful boss who is manipulative and nasty regardless of how good or bad you impress him. That to say I loved the storyline of how their vacations collide. How Maggie ends up attaching herself to Brody for the duration of their vacations. Most importantly how it isn’t easy for them. How they have to come to grips with the individual journeys they have been on with their careers. I love that Brody shows support & encouragement for Maggies business. Even if he trips up. I love that we root for the characters, become invested & hopeful it all works out in the end. Thats one thing you will always find with Meghans books. Even when you don’t want to root for the characters YOU DO! I enjoyed this book inn both text & audiobook format due to driving for spring break. I want to briefly touch on the audiobook because it was AMAZING! It’s a duet narration by Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon. This may be one of my favorite duet pairings I’ve heard. They made the story wildly entertaining for me & I actually stopped reading in text to listen to the whole thing on audiobook. I thought Erin as Maggie was such a great casting. Maggie is upbeat, energetic and has a very social personality. Erin really made you feel like you could see Maggie in her. The brooding, annoyance & heart of Brody portrayed by Jason was such a perfect fit. You really started to feel bad for the guy thanks to Jasons tone & emotion he gives to the character. All in all I can’t recommend this book enough!!!

Funny great start to a series
Oh my gosh, this book was such a good time. Maggie and Brody are hilarious. I was laughing so much throughout the entire book. They had great banter, the tension and chemistry was on fire, and the romance was swoony. Knowing Brody was secretly pining after her all these years while having to put on a fake front of hating her makes him even more lovable. When they find themselves at the same beach resort, they force each other into a fake dating situation to get in the good graces of the Hopner Family. Maggie is on a personal vacation but Brody is there for his boss’ daughter’s destination wedding. Maggie wants an “in” for her wedding business and Brody wants to advance his career. This poor guy was put through the wringer. He kept drawing the short end of the stick and was the butt of the joke each time. However, he took it in stride even when it hurt his pride. Although I hate a 3rd act breakup, I was okay with this one. Brody showed his love and determination to fix the problem and he did it in such a selfless way! Great start to the series and I’m excited to continue. -Fake Dating -Forced Proximity -Brothers Best Friend -One Bed -Hate to Love -Small Age Gap (7 years)

This is definitely my new favourite Meghan Quinn book! I laughed out loud SO many times, I had tears in my eyes on multiple instances. This book was - brothers best friend, fake dating, haters to lovers, non stop banter. It was fantastic and a super fun read. I feel in love with Maggie in The Way I Hate Him as the crazy, hilarious, loyal best friend and I’m so glad she got her moment to shine. She was just as hilarious and quirky in this book as the other. The back and forth with her and Brody was chef’s kiss. I also enjoyed and appreciated the fact that Brody was not made out to be the perfect masculine broody guy. Yes, he was the sexy, drool worthy guy that in the end is the cinnamon roll boyfriend, but had his own insecurities and was clumsy and embarrassing and it was refreshing to see something more realistic. As much as I love the hero type in the story that is strong and masculine, it's nice to see a different take that no one is perfect and has flaws. Also seeing a quirky bromance of the brothers best friend was such a fun touch. I loved their relationship. It was hilarious and so girly at times it was awesome. All in all I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it if you are looking for a fun, easy ready that also gives you some good laughs.

Perfect laugh out loud rom com! This is a steamy, fake dating, forced proximity romance and the first in a new series by author, Meghan Quinn. This was my first book by this author but it won't be my last. Some of the scenes were a bit out there but so hilarious you can't help but love them. The flirting and banter was top notch and when the spice finally hits its steamy and angsty all at once. Tropes include: - Fake dating - Forced proximity (on holidays) - One bedroom - Banter - Laugh out loud rom-com

Came across this as a suggested read in my Kindle Unlimited bit, and glad I read it as it really made me laugh (there were some downs with the ups and I also cried... yeah, I'm a sap what can I say?!?)...there were some scenes in Bora-Bora that almost had me peeing my pants for sure!!! [side bar, without giving too much away: why on Earth would Maggie have still played bridesmaid after everything is beyond me, she must be a very, very niiiiice person!] Anyway, the characters were so well-written, and I found myself loving (or hating.... Daddy Reggie, that's you!!!) them... The romance between her brother and her boyfriend was epic, had to laugh at that stupid pair... ALOT!!!!! (certainly sympathise with the women of whoever those characters were based on lol)... Very much an enjoyable read, will be looking for anymore in the series, seeing as there were at least 2 unattached billionaires sons, I feel there must be more to come(?) Can thoroughly recommend you give this a go! There's steamy rompypompy😉, but also a decent storyline and epic characters 👍🏻👌🏻 I read this book as part of my Kindle Unlimited subscription (free book but I have to pay for the subscription)
