I previously bought a pair of Fiskars from Home Depot, but they were cheap and showed their age. I needed something to trim several rose bushes, to do it well and save time. Didn't want to spend a fortune on Felcos, but let's be honest - most of us are fine with a Chinese knockoff. Well, these fit the bill perfectly. Feel good in your hands, cut quickly and are very sharp. The blade lock mechanism is a little tight, but should loosen up over time. Lighter than most other bypass pruners of this caliber as well. No chips in the blade after doing some light pruning after winter. A finger rest would be nice (for the index finger), but for the price these are unbeatable.

Great pair of shears. They are super sharp and have been handling my yard work with ease for the past couple weeks. They can be a little hard to unlock but overall I would definitely recommend them

the product is very poorly designed. The "featured spring" keeps falling out, my spring is now gone and the Shears are worthless. Thought they would last more than a couple of months, I used them maybe four times. Very dissappointed.

These shears works perfectly fine. Had no issues trimming down small branches of a tree so I can get a ladder up the center of the tree so I can climb up and use a chainsaw to cut the bigger branches. Didn't have any issues with the blade end going sideways causing a miss cut and putting a gap between the blade, (if you ever used a pair of cheaply made shears, you will know what I mean) I only issue I had was when I tried to cut branches that were too thick and the blade gets stuck in the branch but not once did the blades opened up sideways. These pruning shears also has a quick release locking mechanism which works great. One squeeze of the handle will unlock the blade from the lock position to the open position. Time will tell the quality of the metal and how long the blade will stay sharp, but so far, so good.

So far it cuts real well.I like the lock on it.
