I recently purchased the Seiko SBSC001, which is the Japanese version of the SSK001K1. I chose this model specifically because of its jubilee bracelet; the matte finish in the Japanese version feels more premium compared to the polished bracelet on the SSK model, which I found a bit cheap-looking. I’m thoroughly impressed with this watch. The accuracy is outstanding, especially for its price range, and it feels great to wear. It has effortlessly become my daily watch. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality and style at an affordable price!

The made in Japan black model is different from models available in other countries. This one has a matte finish bracelet compared to the blingy one on other black models. I prefer this one as it's not too flashy and suits better with the style of the watch. The bezel is tight compared to what I expected from YouTube reviews. It's not clicky but very hard to accidentally rotate. The grey reflection is very obvious even in the dark Great lume. It's a heavy watch. The only negative is the clasp which feels a little cheap. But great watch for the price! Get the made in Japan watch if you don't want a flashy jubilee bracelet.

Great watch. Seller did not sign the warranty card but it’s a Seiko so it will last. I do wish be bezel was notchy like the SRPD, it’s a friction fit so you don’t get the satisfying click when you adjust it. The upper bezel is black and the lower is a mirror finished silver so it pairs well with all colors. Red GMT hand provides versatile watch strap style options. Photos shown with an olive and red line stretch nato that helps the watch sit comfortable and lighter on the wrist. The original jubilee strap is comfortable and heavy. Good for dressing the piece up for a formal wear. One of my favorites. I would give it a 4.5 if possible due to the friction bezel if I could.

One of my favourite everyday watches.

I’ve had some expensive watches in my collection. This is arguably one of the best watches I have in my collection. Beautifully finished and can’t be flawed. The movement accuracy is great at this price point. And I use the gmt function without issue. A definite recommend from me. The only nitpick is the clasp used on the bracket. It could have been meatier … it’s comfy to wear. Looks amazing … works perfectly and the price from Amazon JP is just insane. Oh did I mention it’s a JDM watch
