Absurdly dull drill bits
I love getting new tools. Within seconds of these bits hitting my doorstep I opened the box and threw the 10mm bit in my drill press.As soon as the bit hit a clean 2x4 I was shocked at how much pressure I had to pull down on the press to cut just 1/4". Was the chuck slipping? No.I replaced with an old 3/8" bit I've been using for the last 10 years which is without question one of the dullest bits I own, had no problem cutting the same depth with very minimal pressure.Maybe the sides are good for carving but it really doesn't matter if the bit isn't sharp enough to cut a straight hole.Very disappointed but glad it was so cheap.
