I am always running around in the morning, taking care of my animals, getting ready for work, etc. and always end up with a cold cup of coffee. Set on 150, this keeps it hot to the last drop. I'll be buying some as gifts. It's even stylish looking on my end table with the faux wood and the ambient light underneath it!

It's a great product that keeps your hot drinks hot. It has excellent design and blends in well with my office aesthetic. You have multiple temperature settings, and the exterior base stays lit up when on. Worth the price.

Works great keeping stuff warm. Coffee or lotion. I wish it stayed on longer. Stays on about 3 hours.

This has 3 temps, coffee stays hot and even has lights!

It did not power on. No warmth, no lights. Nothing. The buttons do not press (maybe they are touch sensitive?) and nothing happens at all. Yes, the outlet I plugged it into is working and I tried other outlets too. Yes I tried it with a coffee cup both on and off the warming pad. Nothing happens. It is dead.

I bought this as a white elephant gift

After pre-heating the mug warmer on the high (170 degree F) setting for 3 minutes or so, I put a cup of freshly boiled water with digital meat thermometer on the mug warmer. I then waited to see how the temperature changed as time went by. It turns out that the results varied according to the actual mug used. The directions say not to use a mug with a concave bottom. I looked at over a dozen different kinds of mugs I have, and they all have a very slight concave bottom underneath them. I picked the mugs that had the least concave effect. It turns out that the diameter of the bottom of the mug used makes a difference. The mug with a diameter of 2.5” declined in temperature until it stabilized at 122 degrees about 1 hour 15 minutes later. The mug with a diameter of 3 1/16” declined in temperature until it stabilized at 135 degrees about 1 hour 45 minutes later. I then put the meat thermometer directly on the surface of the mug warmer, and it registered at 240 degrees F! The drop of water on the thermometer probe sizzled as it fell onto the mug warmer surface. I cooled the probe down and then put it under the mug warmer where it registered 145 degrees F. The amount of heat on the surface as well as under the mug warmer warrant caution. Plastic, phone cords, and papers all should be kept away from the mug warmer, not to mention cats that like to jump up on tables or children who reach up to tables. I would also recommend using the optional “light” button, which shines a light under the mug warmer, to help remind people that the mug warmer is active. This mug warmer does have an auto-off function after working for 4 hours, but not when a cup is removed from its surface.
