I liked the design. It was not too loud/bright, It can be worn casually or dressed up, The material was medium weight, not too light and not too heavy which made it lie smoothly against my skin and flow smoothly as you moved. The slits on the sides were done artfully giving the dress some style. It felt comfortable against my skin. I'm 5' tall so of course, the length came down to the ground covering my feet. I had to bring it to my tailor who took the shoulders in 2 inches as the sides showed too much skin below the armpit, and by doing that it shortened the length of the dress from dragging on the ground to just below my ankle. I can wear flats for a more casual look or dress it up with high heeled sandals. It's a good purchase!

This is a well made very beautiful dress! I love so much about it ...the flowiness, the side slits, the fabric print, how it can be casual or dressy! But I purchased it for Caribbean cruises and it is just too heavy and hot...especially since it is long. the heavy fabric makes a harder item to pack for me because I travel carryon only so need lightweight clothes that pack up very small. Sadly returning it! Fits nice all around even under arms...see pic. I ordered my normal size.

What a great dress! The fit is “forgiving” and perfect. Fabric seems very high quality and not too thick or too thin. Dress lays nicely. Armholes actually fit with no straps showing. Length is surprisingly perfect for me at 5’2 1/2”. Hits me at high ankle, and slits makes it seem even a little shorter. I bought M as suggested. My current weight is about 145# with an athletic build. The dress fits loosely comfortable but still has shape to it. I will machine wash but hang to dry after about 5 minutes in the dryer. I bought the beige leaf which will be great in SW Florida. I thought it looked good with my new denim jacket. Plan to buy again in black.

I like that this dress can look casual and you can also use it for dressy occasions if you accessorize it. The sewing is quite a decent quality work around the arms and neckline and the material has a nice weight to it it's not real thin or clingy. This review is about the black dress I should mention that because I know sometimes different colors may be different fabrics. I look forward to buying at least a couple of the other colors. This is definitely a good staple dress to have. Also even if it looks like a summer dress you could easily use long sleeve shirts underneath for the fall.
