Although not as light as advertised (mine weighs in at 1 lb, 4 oz) probably due to the stuff sack and carabiners that probably aren't included in the advertised weight, it is still significantly less weight than most sleeping bags. The blanket fluffs up nicely and is warm (3-season). It would be nice if it buttoned down the long length in order to close it better as a sleeping bag, but the carabiners at least will hold it close along its long length. I have yet to test it in a real world environment (I will be using it on multi-night caving trips) where the air temps remain a constant 45 to 55 F. depending on the cave. It is expensive, but for the weight to warmth ratio, I believe it is worth it.

Great Product. Be sure to shake it and give it a few minutes to fluff. The snaps are in perfect locations, as you can even make a hood for your head with it. I like the added nylon grabs at the corners of the blanket, to hold the blanket around you, or hang up while fluffing. Very well thought out!

These things are awesome, a little thicker and warmer than my beloved Army Poncho Liner

Purchased camo blanket for extra layer while hunting deer in winter. Does not puff up very much and around the edges, not at all. There is no fill around much of the edges. There is about 50% fill in the baffles in the middle. They are not full. I did put it into the dry with tennis balls after contacting the company. It helped to loft the down, but was not enough to make this blanket worth keeping. If it isn't going to function by creating a thermal layer throughout the blanket, why would anyone want to have this product? I have a Horizon Hound blanket with the same 650 down and it is still full in EVERY baffle throughout the blanket even after 10 years of use. Horizon Hound does not carry it in camo, so I'm looking elsewhere. I have used my Horizon Hound in a blind for the past 2 years, but it is blue, which is the color most seen by deer's eyes. I know this blanket works well as an overlay, and keeps me from wearing so many layers when hiking in - just not the color and pattern needed for hunting.
