Nothing special
I am using the Horse version of this product on a great dane, as the dane is close to a horse and at the time of purchase the horse version was two dollars cheaper than the dog version for the same mixture. I am comparing this to another product on amazon called Corigem, that is no long made, but it was amazing. The Corigem product worked better than antibiotic creams, made hair grow on dry elbows, and instantly took care of acne. This product does not perform any of these miracles. The product seems very close to eucerin in texture and oiliness. Any of the additives may be helping in promoting healing, but the change is not very noticeable vs a typical antibiotic or fungal cream.

Wonderful horse skin treatment
I used this after I had to treat my mini for rain rot. (stubborn mini won't come out of the rain even with shelters). I treated her with a betadine scrub and bath, then shaved her winter coat. She had some real bad skin areas that were revealed after the shaving. This product made SUCH a difference in her skin. It moisturized and smoothed the irritated areas. Her skin looked better even after just 3 days of treatment. 4 ounces don't seem a lot but it goes a long way and I would buy this again in a heartbeat!

Excellent Results
I received this wound healing cream through the Amazon Vine Voice program. My mare had an injury to her lip from wire fencing - she scraped it bad. Then, it became a worse problem as she kept rubbing it on her leg because of flies. Well, a wound directly on the lip is really difficult to treat because it's tough to keep anything on it or protect it especially in 90 to 100 degree temperatures in a desert region. Not to mention, a horse uses their mouth constantly to eat, drink, etc.I tried lots of things. Then, I ordered this cream and began applying it around the outside of the wound, but not directly on it as the tissue was very raw and couldn't scab because of the flies. After a week, I could tell for certain that applying this cream on the outer skin was healing the wound and shrinking it down. So, yes, this is an outstanding product with excellent ingredients as well. I would highly recommend this based on my observations.

I got this for my chickens
I'm frequently having dings and minor wounds to treat and this works good so far. Doesn't seem to bother the chickens.

It's fine for minor stuff
I'm not at all sure what the hype over this is actually. It's a decent moisturizer cream certainly, but it didn't heal anything any faster than regular Corona ointment. This costs more though. Our Donkey is forever popping up with random scrapes and bumps. If there's trouble, he's in it. He had two spots on his shoulder - pretty sure he was leaning into a fence post trying to steal hay from the paddock next door. After 3 days of using this on one spot and Corona on the other spot, both spots are healed. Both areas feel soft and there's no tight edges or open areas. I just don't see any difference between the products except price and easier availability of Corona.
