BlackBerry9720 UK SIM-Free Smartphone - Black

As I prefer using a QWERTY keypad, with proper keys (rather than a touchscreen), I really do like Blackberry phones. I've been using one for the past 8 years … and it's now completely worn out. So I bought this. And, aside from it being slightly bigger, it looks no different. This item is exactly like a classic Blackberry. It looks and feels just the same - with all the same features.It has a much sharper image quality, as compared to my 8 year old version. It's akin to shifting from standard definition to high definition … everything on-screen seems more defined. The audio quality is fine, and the volume level easy to set.I opened the box, removed the back cover, inserted my existing O2 SIM, inserted the new battery (which comes with the phone), replaced the back cover and plugged it in to charge. Note: it did not come with a UK charger - i.e. a 3-pin plug. It only had a USB charging cable. So I'm using my old charger.It took about 1 hour to fully charge. And it's kept it's power for over 3 days. So, thankfully, this isn't a phone that requires charging every day.This Blackberry mobile is easy to use, easy to set-up, and is perfect - so long as you are happy calling, texting, etc. If you want to send emails then you'll need to perform further tasks … and this phone simply isn't designed for gaming. It does have a camera - and can take 30 photos without the need for a microSD card.It's not fancy, but it is a value-for-money phone. If you like using a classic Blackberry then I highly recommend this item.

Stopped working after two months. Replaced battery, still didn't work. Does not turn on. Red led light goes on for 10 seconds then goes out. Does not boot up. Don't buy this.

This phone works perfectly read my simcard straight away ect.. theres a little scratch on the but doesnt effect it at all speakers work fine key board ect works fine all in all a good working phone

Useless for my purposes because it needed a password. My partner for whom I purchased the phone is disabled and cannot use his fingers so never uses a password and keyboard , so a pointless purchase.

These have always been my favorite phone so to find one in this great condition was amazing. It was as described and works perfect in fact it was like new .Thank you

was a big fan of Blackberry and couldn't hook up with internet connection via Vodafone who stated they do not support it anymore.Blackberry wouldn't help because I didn't buy the phone from them.now binned and have iPhone 6 which works perfectly
