Cape Cod Natural Wood Adirondack Chair

I love that the seating position is a touch more vertical than those plastic Adirondack chairs you see all over the place. I relate sitting in these like sitting on a good couch; it doesn't swallow you up, you can get out of it nicely, and you're not in an unnecessarily relaxed position. It's natural wood and you can feel the texture, no rub off of stain or similar to worry about, and I definitely recommend tightening all the screws for the final time once the last piece goes on. The chairs are sturdy, and for the price you've got a solid deal. I am only writing this review because I came back to buy another set and thought it deserved a recommendation.

Pretty nice chairs, I’m not really sure how much weight they’re going to hold though. I read someone’s review that said they would hold a solid 250+ lbs but TBD. They are light enough to move around easily and they weren’t difficult to put together. I’m not sure why I thought they were American-made but they are not, they are made in Vietnam. I was annoyed that the stickers were paper and left goo on the wood. Overall decent chairs.

Assembly was clear and easy. The entire back AND seat come assembled so you’re just attaching the arms, front legs, and a support piece. Took all of 15 minutes. The chair feels stable and comfortable, and the price point is excellent. Just remember that, as said in the instructions, don’t go and tighten every screw until the chair is assembled.

Like: lovely color/finish- looks great! BUT....Dislike:1. NOT comfy in the least! I’ve had numerous Adirondack chairs and this one takes the cake! Back is almost straight up and down! Why?!! AND:2. way too difficult to assemble- Hubs had to drill out a deep hole to get the Barrel Nut into chair and that was the crucial piece to assemble the chair! Took over two hours longer ! Ridiculous way to bolt chair together! AND...3. Pretty low to the ground- much lower than any of my other Adirondack chairs - so difficult to stand up from sitting!!I will NOT Purchase again and I would not recommend due to lack of comfort and assembly. Darn and so lovely looking too!

I absolutely love these chairs - we purchased two, and I was ready to be disappointed because the price (~$120 each) seemed a little too good to be true. But we were pleasantly surprised! The wood is sturdy, the holes are placed properly, and both chairs came together in ~2hrs (1 person). Comfortable and handsome. Highly recommend!

Solid wood, with a little stain.Nice wood color and grains.A couple of slates came cracked nothing a little wood glue won’t fix.

The chairs are slightly small. Not like you’d expect from Adirondack chairs that hug you.Two, thee of the screw holes did not line up. This adds another 30-45 minutes to assembly because you have to drill out holes (difficult to align) or decide to go with a wood screw and abandon that hole.Third, many of the holes were not clean. Had to drill them to clean out wood debris before screw would go in.Directions were accurate. All tools and bolts were included. They look good. But I would not buy again.

These chairs are almost perfect, ( the back doesn't recline) The wood is pretty and smooth. They were fairly easy to assemble and they are very comfortable. We sealed the wood with Minwax polyurethane.
