Good quality castanets, with a nice tone
These are made of rosewood, and have a very nice tone (with one at a slightly higher tone than the other - as normal). There are other, cheaper, castanets available, in plastic and in other woods. I really wouldn't bother. These are the ones you want. Now I just have to practice using them properly.

I expected actual working castanets, but they turned to be just decorative. I guess I didn’t read the description properly. Not for use, just decoration.

Klappert perfekt. Erst hatte mein Hund Angst, und für ihn sollte es vertrautes Signal werden. Angst is' weg, Bedeutung müssen wir noch finden und etablieren, aber das wird schon.

Le système de tension des castagnettes est rudimentaire et produit des torsions qui gène la qualité du son..... Seule une castagnettes émet un son clair....bref je conserve cet objet mais je l ai transformé en quelque chose de plus sérieux....Ne mérite pas l appellation " professionnelle"
