f you are a content creator or want to move and save your clips, this drive is excellent. USB-C is great for modern PCs, and the PS5 Pro has a USB-A gen 3.0 or SuperSpeed on the back of the console that allows for quick transfer. i transferred 2 videos that were 15GB in size in about 20-30 seconds? It was quick. Do not use the USB-C port in front of the PS5 Pro, it's slow. Highly recommended drive.

The Drive works as advertised. That is always a plus. It has good weather to the drive. None of that plastic crarp for a case. I would like to order just the case. I know I will need another case. Oh and if it could come in different colors. Lol 😆. Good product. Works well

I’m very satisfied with this MOVE SPEED 256GB thumb drive. The read and write speeds are impressively fast—close to the advertised 1000MB/s—which makes transferring large files quick and hassle‑free. The build quality feels solid, and the compact design makes it easy to carry around. Overall, it’s a reliable and high‑performance storage option that delivers great value.

First off, this thing is fast. Blazing fast. I did not expect the speeds to hold up when writing large files because of the price point. Usually they start off fast, but then the speeds drains off quick. However after multiple tests with CrystalDiskMark8_0_4c I can confirm I was consistently reaching read speeds of 963MB/s and write speeds of 891MB/s. This is by far the fastest thumb drive I've ever owned. It matches the speeds of my other expensive, high capacity external SSD drive. However there a couple small issues: First, both sides (usb-a and usb-c) have hinged caps that you can't remove. I actually prefer attached caps because there's less parts to lose. However, these caps swing upwards 90 degrees, essentially making your thumb drive much fatter than it normally would be. This can cause issues if you're trying to fit it in tight spaces as it could cause it to not fit or bang into other peripherals. It would be nice if you could choose to remove them if you needed to. Second, the cap on the usb-c side locks into place nicely and doesn't open unless you apply some pressure. However the cap on the usb-a side is very lose and will swing open with gravity. This means it will probably open up in my bag when being jostled around, thus defeating the purpose of a cap. I don't know if they're all like this or I just got a defective one. It's beginning to annoy me enough that I'm considering sending it back for a replacement. If the manufacturer is reading this, let me know if you'll send a replacement, thanks. In conclusion, the read/write speeds are what we're here for, and they do not disappoint. However the build quality and QA leave a bit to be desired. Hopefully I just got a faulty one and they aren't all like this. Still giving it 4 stars.

I am a computer repair technician and I needed a drive to use with Ventoy for various ISOs. It needed to be fast so booting the ISOs doesn’t take long and I needed to be able to put it in any computer, regardless of port type. I bought this to replace my SSK 1TB drive. I’ve had the SSK drive for about a year now and it’s been fine except for one issue. The type A port has a cap that doesn’t stay with the unit when you have to use the type A. I’m surprised I haven’t lost it yet! With the move speed, both the type A and C have the protector that stays with the unit. The magnet on the type A protector is a bit on the weaker side but is not a deal breaker for me. I keep it in my back pocket through the work day and I’ve had no issues with the protectors coming off. Speed is as advertised and can get a bit warm while doing a lot of writing or reading but for me, since I only use it to load ISOs off ventoy, is not an issue. One very small thing I don’t like is the texture of the drive weirdly enough. It’s hard to explain but it’s kinda chalky feeling and if I run my nail on it, makes that weird teeth feeling. I think over time though the texture will get better.

Does not work as designed as the USB c port is non functional and Amazon was no help said to go to manufacture so I emailed them with no response yet! I needed this now so having to use on slow USB a side. This was my second flash drive from this manufacturer and now don’t trust the other as was just a back up to my primary flash drive for DJ’ing so will purchase reliable sandisk for flash drives as have owned about 10 and never any issues as well as 10 or so crucial drives that also just work and keep working. Update as of 8/31/25 I did get replacement which has been working perfectly especially with my iPad Pro as is super fast and don’t need a doggle like current 14 pro which will be fixed when upgrade next as will be USB C 3.2 was added with 15 pro but still works great with my old apple camera adapter which was USB 3 but only for my old iPad Pro that was still lightning. Do you have affiliate programs? As I am a professional DJ and a professional photographer so had also looked at making a device like this in 2019 so had gone to manufacturers at conferences in HK and Taipei but had nothing similar to what I was looking for which is exactly what us professional artists need especially when traveling and limited cell or WiFi to back up our large files. Poor quality, and no customer support. When I first received my flash drive, it worked great, and it was fast just like the promised speeds. I was surprised it came with a keychain holder too, so I absolutely used it and kept this flash drive with me everywhere. Fast-forward about 6 months and it stopped working completely. At first maybe I thought the partition crashed, so I attempt to reformat it, but it turns out that my computer isn’t even detecting the drive (confirmed on macOS in System Settings > General > System Report > Thunderbolt/USB4), and no other device of mine seems to see it, either. This thing is dead as a doornail. I attempted to reach out to Movespeed’s support email ([email protected]) and have received absolutely no response after several days — not even a simple acknowledgement. Their Amazon listing says to use this email to contact them. I wanted to know what their warranty claim process was or even how long the warranty was, but apparently you get no warranty, no reassurance, and no support at all! Do not buy this worthless piece of garbage. I have cheap 2GB flash drives from 15 years ago that work flawlessly still that were given to me for free from events, not sure how this “premium” flash drive couldn’t even last half a year, and to get ghosted by this company on top of it. Ridiculous.

Great product, however it shows as being compatible with Amazon and is not until it's completely reformatted. This changes the compression method which has the ability to cause complications. Just a note that it does essentially work.
