Nice, good quality but lacking variety/depth of flavour and very overpriced.
I'm something of a chocoholic and tend to buy regular boxes of high end luxury (typically hand made) chocolates to savour. I don't mind paying a steep price for exceptional quality and like to support small businesses. So as a purchaser/consumer I consider myself something of an authority in this arena.I found this brand on Amazon and thought I'd first try the one that appealed the most, the fruit option, view a view to trying the whole range if they were good... and they are indeed very good.Firstly, the little tin they come in is adorable, I'd prefer it if the branding wasn't printed on the side and it was just pretty everywhere, but its still nice and really useful with its hinged lid and gold interior. It looks lush and good quality. The contents are loosely packed inside with a black greaseproof paper wrap around them which did cause some shipping damage. The sugar shells had cracked and broken on many of the contents but that's a minor issue, lots were fully in tact. The contents look deliciously cute and there's a little 'thank you' card to tell you what they are. But you don't really need the menu card, because there's so little real difference between them that you stop worrying which one you pick up after you've tried a few. I found that due to the tiny amount of real fruit inside, the flavours were extensively overshadowed by the chocolate and sugar shells so the difference in each flavour became negligible. They are nice, they are good quality and they are a very sweet little gift... but at £17... no no no.I'd expect to find these in a high end department store pre Christmas with a ticket price of £12. And at that price I'd expect so see 90% of them still there in the Boxing Day sale reduced to £10, with them flying off the shelves in January at £8.I think nothing of paying £20 for 200g of quality confectionary and was happy to try these. They are nice, good quality and i enjoyed them. But had I bought them for a gift for someone I'd be devastated as they look like £5 - £8 off the shelf and don't sell themselves any better on opening. I have no intentions of following up on my plan to sample the other products by this supplier.Buy some and then you decide.

Amazing nut chocolates
The tin is beautiful and that alone would make a beautiful gift and the unusual chocolates are devine
