it removes paint and varnish, but only a layer at a time

Does what is says on the tin
An effective paint remover. Used as instructed and product cut through 4 layers of paint on my window cill. You then need to scrape it off and sand down well to the bare wood. Would recommend.

Just don't!
I paid for one the most expensive strippers expecting it to at least be reasonable. It's not - absolutely useless. all I wanted was to strip off one layer of dark varnish, put 2 thick layers on - rubbed it in - left it - may as well have used water. Paint Panther? More like Paint dead scabby alley cat.

Works wonders!
This product is amazing. Initially purchased to strip old varnish from the fire surround which it did with ease. Amazingly, it removed wood stain from white upvc window frames! which saved me getting in a whole load of trouble with the landlady.
