Favourite setting powder
This is a great setting powder, it gives a beautiful matte but natural looking finish. I also like using it on it's own after applying my skincare and sunscreen to mattify the shine on my face. I've tried loads of high end setting powders but this is my favourite amongst them all because it doesn't dry out my face or look cakey. This loose power hasn't caused any breakouts and the light/medium colour is perfect for my skin tone. I'm very happy to have come across this powder after seeing an influencer recommending it online otherwise I probably wouldn't have tried it myself.

Very drying on your skin
Really disappointed with this product. Very poor coverage and it almost felt 'textury' on my face. It was so drying on my skin and made it look dehydrated. I even felt I looked older which is not what anyone wants. I actually looked forward to taking it off as soon as I got home from work. Maybe if you have really oily skin it could suit you but I won't be using it again and have ordered a different brand. Such a shame.

Question: So, what is a powder like this for? Answer: To set your makeup. And does it do this. Yes, it does. It's beautifully fine and light - absorbs any extra 'grease' from makeup and keeps going all day. What more could a girl want... ummm, diamonds, a flat in London and one in New York.... unlimited, never have to pay back credit card..... sorry, just off on a little day dream there.... What I meant was, what more could a girl want from face powder.... not a lot.

Product description not accurate
I have used and loved the NYX lipsticks and glosses before and thought I would try their face powder, as the brands that I normally use no longer provide a finishing powder. This is marketed for 'Light/Medium' skin tones but would be more suited to Medium/Olive skin. You will need to avoid if you're fair or light toned. The shade reference is misleading. It had a bronzing/tanning affect on my skin, which wasn't the look I was aiming for. The powder isn't long lasting and adds sheen to the face by end of the day; wears off. I gave mine away.

If you have an acne prone and oily skin, trust me this is a life saver! It is the best oil -free loose powder. You will really not regret or think you have wasted money after buying it. NYx never leaves a chance to impress me.
