Fletchers' Mill Silicone Spatula, White - 12 Inch

I've had this spatula and two others from the same company for over a year now, and I love them. I use them several times a week, pop them in the top rack of my dishwasher, and they still look almost as good as new. The blades haven't chipped or cracked at all, and have been used in everything from ice cream making to stir-fry, in the case of my spoon/spatula hybrid version. The colors are still as vibrant as they were the day I got them; even tomatoes haven't succeeded in staining them.The handles in particular are one of my favorite things about these spatulas. When I first got them, I worried the wood wouldn't age well and that washing it in the dishwasher would distress it. Not so. The handles are very sturdy and have held up to vigorous scraping and stirring, and they haven't cracked or splintered at all. They also happen to be beautiful, which isn't necessarily something I look for in cooking tools, but, hey, I certainly don't mind if my utensils are both pretty and practical, especially since these sit in a crock on my kitchen counter.I'm very impressed with this company's products. They feel like they're carefully made, with attention to both form and function. This spatula scrapes with the best of them and can hold up to heat, making it a multi-purpose tool that sees a lot of action in my kitchen. I will definitely purchase more products from this company in the future, as I'm very impressed with their quality. Yes, they're a little pricier than other options, but I've found that when it comes to kitchen tools you usually don't want to go cheap as it usually means you'll end up with something of subpar quality. I'd recommend these to anyone looking for an excellent-quality kitchen product.

I have been using this spatula daily, it's everything I hoped it would be. It's durable, scrapes containers of all it's contents without scratching and is made in the USA. This spatula is a very pleasing shade of blue with a wood handle. The silicone portion is just the right amount of "soft" for conforming to the surface I am scraping. The silicone is also "firm" enough not to be too bendable. I get irritated when I am trying to remove the last of the batter or dough or whatever I am making and the spatula is too floppy or stiff to easily clean the bowl. Plus the fact that it is made in the USA gives me great relief about the actual materials going into the product and that the company is following the safety standards that are set here in this country. I don't mind spending extra time, effort, and money to have American-made products that are touching my family's food.

The silicone rubber blade part is nicely done. The wooden handle is slightly crude, but I sandpapered it and then applied a food-grade mineral oil to it. This spatula should last for decades.

This spatula was a little pricier than what I usually buy, but this one is excellent. Well constructed, pliable, and with a handle long enough to use with the blender. Definitely a great purchase.

I am absolutely thrilled with this spatula. It might possibly be the best spatula I have ever owned. And the size is perfect for getting into those small mouth jars and containers. I also love the color and the wooden handle, but the best part is that it is made in the USA!!

Works well.The head pops off of the stick, but not when using it. Makes it easy to clean actually.
