Air filters help the engine breathe better. That is a fact. Now this one makes sure your engine gets cold air directly from the inlet. But does it? (needs to be verified scientifically, beyond my scope) If it is the noise you are looking for, it rices really well. If it is performance gains, then you might be left a tad disappointed as on an NA engine it has very marginal improvements. But one thing, it ensures proper air delivery to the engine especially when you have an engine which struggles to breathe at high rpms If that is what you are looking for then it is worth the stretch. Having used the FBSS60-150 and then the stock replacement, this does the job better. (Yes, I have tried them all without researching what I was doing (-_-)) Installation is not as easy as it says on the manual, but its a DIY. You don't need to spend the extra money on installation charges, you just need patience. (Only recommended if you know what you are doing.) PS: Highly recommended to remap your ECU for better/optimal engine performance. And no, it does not increase your mileage, just makes driving a lot more fun!
