The looks and asthetics of the lock is commendable. The installation process was very smooth, kudos to the Lavna team for making process really simple.However there is scope of improvements and here are the suggestions1. Allow multiple medium to open the lock like pin + fingerprint2. When the lock is connected to the wifi, allow users to get notification when the door is opened.3. The data storage location is also not highlighted which makes people vary where the lock data is stored. Atleast I would not like my data to be stored in servers located in China.Also, the use of SD card in the lock is not highlighted and the purpose of it is unknown.Overall, the functionality offered by the lock is simply amazing. I wish success to the Lavna team.

I have used it for a week now and lock seems to be working fine..Battery is still at 80% so looks like it will stay for a month atleast..I can unlock it from my office and that way it looks like a good buy for me.. Only one thing could be improved and that is unlocking feature from app without the door bell.. Right now it can only be unlocked if somebody presses the bell on the lock... You cannot unlock from app with the bell..otherwise all looks good.. All features mentioned are working perfectly fine for me

I have used this product for just a little over a year now. It performed well for the most part, nothing extraordinarily good or bad about the lock. It did it's job. The wifi function is quiet slow even on a 100mbps connection. Overall, didn't have any complaints as such.Exactly near the end of the warranty period last month, I started experiencing battery drain. I figured it may be an issue with the batteries the first couple of times, but the issue continued and I burned through 16 batteries within a month (4 at a time). Mind you, I used the recommended Duracell AA alkaline batteries. Now I have to pay for the repairs. It's surprising and really concerning that the issue arose exactly at the end of the warranty period. I hope it is simply a coincidence and not by design.Edit: Service is non existent. They make you pay in advance for the part and technician visit and then fail to send anyone. I have had to fight for almost a week for a refund of the repair charges and still no positive response.

Wanted a smart lock and after research pre-downloaded the Lavna app for habituating with the app and purchased this lock in great indian festival. But when tried to connect it during set up process it fails to find the lock and also same app is not available currently in playstore by manual search as well as after scanning the android scan code provide with the manual. It seams its support from china has been expired or removed. Later smart life apps works with it. The same app is being used by 99 % of the smart lock of any brand made in china. Seller is making customer fool by marketing it as make in india. I am affraid that app will be chargeable annually after completion of one year as done by most of the smart devices as cloud rental for control via wifi. Finger print function is also hit and miss. Also few wrong attempts block the locks operation from outside except mechanical key. No. of wrong attempt should be configurable. As Installation suport is not available at most of the city like siliguri, so there should be additional discount for non servicable area by the way of discount in selling price of approx. Rs. 550. Lavna is also providing only 1 year warranty which creates doubt about its own quality where other brand offering 3 years of warranty.Its cutout drawing is also wrong as centre key hole is not required as its key is at the bottom. All the made in china smart lock is same. Buy any one which cost lesser.
