The molded clips that hold the rods at the 90 degree angle might not be separated after molding. Make sure you stick a flat head screwdriver in there and open them up before you try to rotate the rod into them.

Couldn’t have asked for a better fit. This tailgate cap fit my 04 perfectly! Just snaps right into place. Definitely worth $32 . And Looks great! 😊

The accessories came in and was packed well. They were put on truck and work exactly as expected

The part did not fit on my 2018 F150. My guess is after it was molded, the plastic shrunk a bit. None of the clips fit into the slots on the tailgate. Absolutely worthless.

Replaced my boss's broken original, the first two I ordered were in two parts when it's supposed to be one, but this one on Amazon was more expensive but came in one piece except the first was damaged in shipping, but the seller took care of it after some easy communication. Holding up after about a month so far.
