Works Great!!!
I bought this snake camera along with a Ridgid K-400 snake to fix a two years long sewer problem at one of my rental houses. In the past, my father and i tried to fix the backup problem at least ten times without success. This time the water was backing-up into the basement and i decided to purchase this camera to see what the problem was. Last year a plumber charged me $385 dollars to do a 30 mins. video inspection at another house. This way i pay $700 and get to keep the camera for any future problems. The camera worked perfect, the visibility is very good and i was able to push it smoothly in the 4" sewer pipe. I used the camera to inspect the entire pipe when the line was cleared. It was very helpful to guide my father as he removed the blockage from the pipe. I plan to keep the camera for any future issues. Good luck!

Not so sturdy
This scope is not made for use in construction areas. Cheap plastic housing cracked on first use. Would not recommend for anything too involved.

Pretty good camera for the price
The unit works well. Instructions are a bit confusing. I suggest you learn how to use it and then right your own instructions The cable is rather fragile. Buy a spare for ~ $140 if you get this unit

decent if you dont expect too much
I bought mine at least 2 years ago with 100ft cable. I have used it for plumbing and hollow wall inspection. The good: shows a very clear color picture, adjustable leds worked great, works well if used in the appropriate size pipe (3-1/2 or bigger) I was able to push the cable through 60ft of pipe including 2 bends before I lost push tension. Was able to record for clients on a flashdrive. Lastly, it lasted for 2 years. The bad: recordings seem to only play back on the device itself. Won't play on any computer I've tried so far. Camera head needed replacing after getting stuck once and has a short where the fiberglass cable connects to base. Should be a little more durable but it did get stuck, so... Overall, it's a good product for the price and it has more than paid for itself from doing video inspections. Like I said, if you don't expect to use it in every pipe and know how to use in the right ones, you should be fine if you get a working unit. I will continue to use the product as long as nothing major goes wrong and order replacement parts as long as they don't get more expensive.

This camera works great & considering the average rental costs me $250+ it ...
Let me start by saying that I am a plumber. This camera works great & considering the average rental costs me $250+ it only has to last a couple of jobs to be paid for. The small size is very similar to the ridged camera snake that goes for about $6000. This camera goes through 2" 90's no problem. ( FYI don't put your camera through P-traps. Not just this camera but any camera.)

Nice camera. Weak push cable limits use.
I ordered this camera to inspect a root damaged 4-5 inch sewer line at my home. This camera actually shows a better picture than the one that my plumber came and used and charged me 195.00 per hour for! The backup battery lets you use it if you don't have electricity close by. The problem I discovered with this unit is that the 65 foot fiber optic 'push rod (cable)' that is supplied is too thin and weak to push the camera through much more than 15 feet of pipe. It took quite some time to just get the camera beyond the trap, let alone the length of pipe from my house to the street. Then, once it gets through the trap, the camera head gets caught on the various sections of pipe hubs. Once you're about 15-20 feet out, you keep trying to push the cable through but it is to weak so it just starts to bunch up in the pipe. If the cable were more rigid I believe it would be able to jump past the hub connections. I suppose one might try to attach a heavy gauge piece of wire or steel cable to the push cable but for a 600+ item I did not think I should have to modify it just to get past 15 feet so I have returned the item. This would work great in a pipe with no traps or hubs, like a long piece of pipe with no hub sections, but that is not the way typical house sewer pipes are designed.

Video snake color camera
I work as an inspector and this camera has saved us a lot of money as we do not require a contractor to come in and run there video snake and give us the video to review. The camera has great clarity; the screen has a great picture, all in all a great product for the cost.

Video Snake
With this video snake I was able to inspect my entire sewer system. There's a setup screen and you need to know the LED light brightness is adjustable. One problem I've come across is trying to find out who makes the Video Snake. I was looking for video drivers for my computer but not knowing who makes the Video Snake, it's hard to find drivers (I never did find them).
