Kingdom Hearts FOAM Keyblade Dark Side Key D Gold Version Sora D+ Mickey

I admit I was skeptical about ordering this because it was made of foam but I'm glad I did. If you're not sure then let me give some pointers:(For detailed views zoom in on my pictures, I made sure to use a high quality camera)First off, I'm a hobbyist. I work with wood, metal, EVA foam, epoxy, etc... I've seen what shoddy foam craftsmanship looks like. This keyblade is excellent. My first thought was "if it's foam then surely it must be flimsy, weak, and too light." But it wasn't! Sturdy build, and a VERY nice weight. I'd say heavy enough to feel realistic but also light enough to carry around for several hours if you're at a con.Second, the color is solid. Looks metallic, and the handle is comfortable to hold. The 'crown' at the end of the key as well as the silver guard are a bit more malleable only because they don't have a core in them. The Mickey head that is the keychain is a little weird looking, but is an easy fix if you have a Dremel laying around. Even so I believe that these things are a minor issue at most, I can't stress how good the quality is on this.Third, the thing that swayed me most of all was seeing pictures of others whom had made the same purchase so you could actually see how it looked in natural light/ indoors/ etc... I would say that this is the most to-scale keyblade on the market. It feels like it was pulled straight out of the game. And for it to be sculpted this well out of foam is amazing to me. 10/10 I highly recommend to any Kingdom Hearts fan.

I got a few compliments. Keep in mind this is foam. I like this keyblade alot probably my favorite of the 4 i have so far. Built pretty sturdy, a little heavy and its Gold and silver all good qualities. My only issue is the paint like i said this is foam so the paint is gonna come off, i didn't expect it to start coming off within a few hours of having it but it's bound to happen when you're flossing on people at a convention. Results may vary, compliments and flossing not guarantee.

This replica is dead solid and looks fantastic. It's a fair bit heavier than I was expecting and the metallic finish looks fantastic. Definitely going to pick up the standard Kingdom Key to go with it.

I got this for my 4 year old, he is over the moon for anything Kingdom Hearts. The blade is true to the picture, however it's a little on the heavy side. Which is pretty surprising for something made of foam. I'll definitely be purchasing other models though.

I train myself and several others in armed melee combat (usually by sparring with a broad, diverse variety of swords, pole arms, maces, etc.), and using durable, foam versions of iconic weapons, such as this item, makes it more fun and challenging to practice.Although the item I received was a palette swap of the item pictured, through a combination of excellent customer service and a rather high quality product, I’m quite satisfied with my purchase.

I really Don't write reviews. however. I am the one to usually read them. and just like anyone else. i kinda let determine when to buy or pass. I am going to put it simple. Just like the other people wrote on here. I AGREE! this is a must buy. and well made. its well worth the money i paid. and for sure will be getting the Sora keyblade as well :). Its well made. has a good weight to it. has mild miss marks, but nothing to take away from the rest. its perfect to mount on my wall !

Does not look like what shown in the picture. Poor design.

If you are looking for a quick cheap prop for an event, this is perfect. Like other reviewers are saying, the chain is white plastic. So I little spray paint can fix that. However, the paint on other areas came off after blue painters tape was applied (to protect from overspray). Very cheaply done.
