I wish I bought it together with my inverter
I had MPPT inverter for over a year and multiple attempts use arrest for 85 port connection and my computer to program. It was very painful, never really succeeded. Always trouble through the windows to find the correct driver. Then the software never really dumped the programming into it and I give up. Then almost a year later after that event I decided you know. Let's give it a try. This little remote console I say red that it should be able to program my inverter to charge my lithium battery properly. Guess what? It took me 10 minutes to set everything up. The word of advice in my setup. I do have a full access to my MPPT inverter and it's reads out and it look like I don't need to have a remote console so I always carry the remote cancel with me in my camper just like a programming pad and I'm using only when I need to change something. Day-to-day charge level voltage currents I'm using the readout of the inverter. And this pretty much became a maintenance counsel.

Very helpful addition!
Works great with the Epever Tracer 4210, makes monitoring my solar output and battery condition much easier.

Used for reprogramming solar controller of Lithium batteries in Hymer class B motorhome
Pretty simple. Plug it in, use button navigation to settings and change the settings to protect your VERY expensive lithium batteries. Only caveat is to get correct settings you need prior as the manufacturer ( Erwin Hymer) programmed controller incorrectly and then went out of business. Most RV dealers know less about solar/GU lithium systems than your neighbor’s teenager.

Disappointed
Very disappointed this was supposed to be the new update version with the lifepo4 pre programmed in

WEAK Button Springs
This is the second one that I have gotten that the buttons stick when you push them in .. the springs that they are now using to push the button back out after you have made a selection is tooo week ... its truly an irritating pain to have to take your finger in wiggle the keys constantly to get them to pop back up ... luckily thats only bothersome during programming but what should have taken 4 minutes to program my solar charger using this took 10 and i had to start over repeatedly ... besides that the system works exactly the way its suppose to .. I have purchased 4 of these previously for previous projects -- its has only been recently that this "weak return" has began occurring .. but obviously this seller has a batch of bad ones it seems

Couldn't do without one
All controllers in an RV should have this option. I want to know how much my solar panels are putting out, but charge controllers are usually mounted out of sight. The MT60 gives you full control of all parameters, an automatic backlight for the display, and useful information at a glance.

Doesn't work with LiFePo4 batteries
I had a different MPPT controller installed and it wouldn't communicate with the MT50... so I pulled that one and bought an Epever MPPT controller so that I could use the remote. Got it all wired up and installed the MT50 on the wall after running all the wires.... no joy. Apparently, it doesn't work with lithium batteries. Awesome to know that it's legacy tech when you're trying to build a modern solar system for an RV in this century. Now I'm going to have to pull it, patch the giant hole in the wall, and find a wi-fi adapter so that I can access my controller without having to climb down into the guts of the RV.

Can't do without them
If you need to know what's going on with your system, you need this remote meter. I have them hooked up to each of the 3 EPEVER Tracer 40A controllers and they provide all the information I need. They make it much easier to program the load, battery capacity, etc.

It is a must have for any EPEVER mppt. The ability to navigate the menu and change the parameters is very easy. It shows what the total kwh for the day/ month and total. Everything is customizable. This really should be combined with all epever units. It's a must have in order to save your batteries and get the best charge. Buy one if you buy an epever mppt controller.

Worked great; most excellent to see what is happening when you are camping without having to go look at the controller. Mounted by my Pillow inside.
