I'm impressed. I've no idea if the legs really are made out of carbon fibre (and I've no reason to believe they're not) but at £45 this is the best price carbon fibre compact tripod I could find. The overall build is excellent.With five sections of leg extended I was worried that they may bow a little or would not be sturdy. As it turned out there was nothing to worry about on either count.With all 5 sections extended and a full 2 part stem I find my viewfinder at 5 feet and with 4 sections at 4 feet tall.The picture shows 4 sections of leg and 1 stem. Camera weighs 3/4 kilo.The only negative (tiny) detail is the quick release plate is screw in, so unlike just popping a lever to release it takes 4 turns to undo. Still means you don't have spin the camera round and round.Decent bag to help carry the tripod which doesn't feel unduly heavy or too light to use with a little wind.Recommended.

Generally fit for purpose however one leg is defective and needs to be monitored closely.
