Simple and wonderful

I have bought a number of nano filters like this in the past. All around the same price range. I know what I am paying for. This is the worst of the lot. - the acrylic pipe fittings are of poor tolerances. As such it does not seal properly while lifting up the water. This results in poor suction and heavy noise. - there is wasted space in the catchment area; its capacity is smaller than it appears. - the rotor tolerances are so bad that this is one of the slowest to start the cycle. A lot of these nano filters cannot start after a power failure. I know that. This one, it simply takes over 5 minutes of carefully pouring water from top for it to get started. - the cap on top rattles. Again poor acrylic mould tolerances. I am sure this is a very good product at one thing: PROFIT FOR VAYINATO. I’m sure this would be one of the cheapest landed cost from China. So, high margin.

Good one but doesntlast more than 3 mths. Motor failure.

Let's start with the fact that everyone with a 5 gallon aquarium (I do not support fish bowls or smaller than 5 gallons) wants a filter that does not take up space INSIDE the aquarium, look bulky and is just unasthetically pleasing to the eye. I have always kept sponge filters inside my 5 gallon betta/fighter and shrimp tanks and never liked the look or how it just took up a huge corner of space. Found this and thought I'd give it a try since it is claimed to be noisless (thank goodness!) and finding aesthetically pleasing filters are hard to come by. Let's go to pros - 1. Aesthetically pleasing. 2. Very quiet. 3. Flow is nice. 4. Affordable. 5. Adjustable Height (to an extent). 6. Can add a little bit of other type of filter in it (bio) Now Cons - 1. No Warrenty 2. Motor may be of cheap quality. 3. May not last long. 4. I do wish the pipes could be a bit longer where it almost reached the substrate. Another point to add is that if you want to use this with fry or Neocaridina/Cardania shrimp breeding, you need to maybe make a makeshift small sponge to cover the inlet pipe. My Copper Alien Hybrid Betta Fish was giving it an inspection and thinks it's interesting. Gave it 3 stars to find out how long it will last. Might update later.

Quality is nice. It is silent. Does the job. Add 2 ceramic rings and aquarium wool, you will get clear water.

It's a best filter under this price range..my betta fish likes it ..

It stopped working after 10 days

Sorry I didn't bother to focus on the product. Because it's a duck. It's not for a small size tank. It's for a nano size tank. It's very small. It has an asthetic look but logically it just pumps the same water again and again in your tank. It means recirculation and no oooooo any filteration. I will try some DIY. My advice. Don't buy it. Waste of money. If you want good filter you must spend. Approx 2k. These cheap things are just mimics. 1 star for amazon delivery. 2 star for asthetic look.
