Great Explorations 3-D Stars in a Tube

Love these stars. They are a great size and are three dimensional. They are easy to assemble. They come with eyelets that allow you to string with fishing wire and then the two sides of the stars snap together around the eyelet, making the string attachment hidden and the stars 3 dimensional from both sides. They glow well. The kids LOVE them! I'm going to get another set!

These are the best glow in the dark stars i have seen. They are now all over my son's ceiling, and glow well past when he goes to sleep. I use that white rubber gum to stick them on, which is re-useable.

These glow brightly but fade fast. I tested them alongside two other options: - Ultra-Glow SuperStars by Kangaroo/Lightning Quick LLC (200 pack with moon) - BriteGlow Glow in the Dark Stars by OIG Brands (200 pack with moon) (Those other options are actually identical products in different packaging.) These reacted to regular and UV flashlights the most quickly of the three options, with the strongest glow after brief exposure, but they started to fade immediately. They were dark after 5 minutes, while the other two still glowed. The 3D shape is nice, as is the ability to mount them flat or snap together and hang. But the glow is inferior. I’d pick another option. I also found the included putty to have a weak hold. I had better luck with StikkiWAX.

They give depth to any glow in the dark night sky!

Much preferred over the standard flat variety. Though I typically need more adhesive than is included.

perfect for hanging in my boys room. Would love to get more of these, but the cost per star is a bit high, which is why 4 stars instead of 5.

My children LOVE these stars! They are a great big size which makes them extra cool for my little ones. They love, love, love, them! My husband hung them with string with the included putty and they all fell. But, I'm not positive it was the putty's fault. He would lift up our 3 year old and she would stick them up herself. So that may have been the problem. lol I still used a different brand's putty and I stuck them flat on the ceiling. I just think seeing them hang even 1/2 inch would drive me nuts after a while, visually. So I can say that the included putty was easy to scrape off and did not leave a mark. We used these stars with the 3-d solar system in the other room and they look great. the stars included with that set are poor, so I am happy I used these. I hung those planets about 1.5 inches from the ceiling. lol. I cannot really review how long the stars glow. I don't expect them to be a night light. I just know they glow brightly.

I was about to return these stars but decided to keep them. 1. They come in this container that’s shallow in the middle and instead they’re positioned around it to make it look full when in fact only half of the container is full. False advertising if you ask me! 2. There wasn’t enough putty for all the stars and we had to use a different one that we got from different glow in the dark stars. 3. They started to fall off the ceiling!!! Maybe half of them fell!! (Yes, even when using their own putty). I could deal with everything except when they started falling. I got worried that they might fall onto my baby’s crib and he could choke on one. However, since I recently purchased some gorilla double sided tape that has proven to work extremely well, I decided to use some of that to stick them on. Overall, they look nice in the dark, I’m not a huge fan how they look during the day because you can definitely see the fish line, but I’ll deal with it.
