Have a lot of high end tools and these seem to compete well as far as quality and functionability

there not bad little rachets I like these a lot better than the tiny ones you get from harbor freight the only problem I had was they came loose so I had to tighten them back up to get them to work again a lot thicker than the little ones you normally see

I expected much less for the price but wow these are nice. Full time mechanic. I was looking for a set of flex head ratchets. Spent way to much on SnapnOn over the years. Decided to see what else was out there. I'm impressed! I didn't think cheap could be so good. Highly recommend. I'll update in a few months of daily use.

Doesn't anyone grease their ratchets at the factory? As I spun each ratchet I heard them say "grease me". As you can see from the photos, none had any grease inside. So far almost every ratchet I've bought through Amazon and made in China has had zero to minimum grease. I just figure this is going to be the case. If you're brave enough to open them up, you'll need a #8 and #10 torx. The anvil side is the #8 which holds the shift lever. A pair of #10s hold the plate. Sometimes the plates are tight so be careful when trying to pull them off or the cone shaped springs are going to find that same blackhole where their other friends are. Add some grease, rebuild and don't over torque the screws. I also drop some oil into the ball bearing of the quick release mechanism. All are much smoother now. BTW -The Workpro flex head ratchets have the same inners with no grease either. Fit and finish is okay. The 1/2" had a few dings on the head and the other ones had some sharp edges at the knuckles. I'm not going to lose sleep here based on the price and a fine diamond file made them go away. I will note that the fit and feel of any stubby ratchet is important because of where they sit in your hand. So if you're going to use them a lot, look into purchasing those of higher quality. I am keeping them but I can only rate them 3 stars because of the additional effort one needs to preform.
