Just right!
I bought this iron because of the weight and the promised 'smooth glide' so to speak. I wasn't disappointed. It is an excellent iron, delivered quickly and securely. If you want a heavy iron for a family then this is maybe not a first choice. If you want a middleweight iron for just a couple then buy this!Excellent!

I do not iron like the average person so this is perfect for me, not the most powerful iron but it suits my needs and as I also had a voucher from Amazon it cost me next to nothing. Fantastic !!!

Looks like a good iron but not worth it
Received it on time but didn't last for a long time looks like a good iron but stop working within the first year which was disappointed thought Russell Hobbs iron would last a bit longer but that wasn't the case

Russell Hobbs Steamglide 2200 iron
I don't like the teflon baseplate. It involves pushing the iron not gliding it across the clothes. There is not nearly enough steam for even the lightest of creases. I know it is cheap but I will not be tempted to buy cheap in the future. I am surprised that such a good name could produce such a sub-standard item. It now lives in the back of my cupboard in case of emergencies.

Nice Iron
I bought this to keep in my sewing room for pressing seams, to save keep setting up my usual steam generator iron. It heats quickly and does the job well. Happy bunny here

Not as user friendly as my old Russell Hobbs Steamglide Iron and am most disappointed with this purchase

Appalling perfromance
Bought this to replace broken almost identical Russell Hobbs iron that fell and broke - but what a difference.Barely hot enough to iron a cotton shirt. Appalling performance - I feel I am having to fight the iron to do the ironing.Cheap but very nasty. I made the cardinal mistake of being beguiled by the Brand and not reading the reviews before I clicked orderDO NOT BUY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
