Great product
Great looking fixture, gives off very warm yellow lighting. And appears to be very well made!

A little short in height
Short height makes you use a low profile bulb. The first unit I received had bad wiring and had to return. The other two are working fine. Good apearance.

Worth the money, very MCM!
Excellent product. Looks great on our pillars, and the construction is quality. Easy install meant low cost for electrician.

Not the colored wires I was expecting!
The light is great and it was fairly easy to install however the wires were not the typical white, black and copper ground. They were green, blue and red, which threw me off at first and I had to do some extra work and investigation to ensure I was wiring it properly because the directions did not specify or even mention the colors at all. Better instructions there would have saved me a ton of time because I am not an electrician but I am very comfortable wiring in standard light fixtures. This was not standard!

Use an electrician to install the post lamp.
The post lamp has been working well. I would recommend buyers hire an electrician to install it. I have been using it for several weeks without any problems. It looks very stylish.

Cool look, good quality
Cool look, good quality: This outdoor post light is very large and really does look cool once set up. The size of the light is great for larger brick or concrete posts, but wouldn't fit well on smaller objects, so just review the size if you choose to purchase. The black finish and opaque glass also looks pretty nice during the day time, and lights up attractively at night, so aesthetically looks great regardless of whether or not its being used. The quality of the lamp is also pretty good, but I expected the unit to be a little more solidly put together given the ~$130 price tag. The box rattles just a bit when handled and the light as a whole is a bit lighter than I'd anticipated given the size. Despite that, the unit does work well and is adequately waterproofed so functions as expected. Overall, this is a good light and I would recommend.

Very good First Impression
To be transparent, I have not yet installed the light as it is destined for a separate patio area that we are looking to build out on one end of our yard. We have an area where we have a patio built but we want to extend it to add a deck and possibly a sauna, so this light is going to be a great way to light up that area at night in a suble way that is not as bright a street lamp, etc. First impressions are very good. It is a solid metal frame with frosted glass lenses around the light itself. It's a LED ligth, so longevity is pretty much guranteed and maintenance for things like changing bulbs won't be an issue. But mostly, it's just a beautiful unit. It's a modern looking, almost professional/commerical type appeal to it. Perfect for a patio or a pedestal installation, which will be built into our design. Happy to have this and looking forward to install it. I willbe sure to come back and update the review at that point.
