I use these so much I should probably own stock in the company. They’re in my hand almost every day, but I’ve learned you have to respect their limits. I never use them on bright white plastic because they’ll burn the surface, and I avoid ceramic-coated bakeware. On porcelain or bathtubs, I’m careful — over time they’ll wear down the finish if used too frequently. Once I figured that out, these became a cleaning essential. Here’s how I use each for maximum effect: Extra Durable (red) – My everyday sponge. Longest lasting, easiest to rinse clean, and perfect for all-purpose jobs like floors, walls, and general surfaces. Ultra Thick (silver) – Best for paint touch-ups or heavy-duty jobs. Absorbs better and can smooth out uneven paint, but wears faster on rough or dirty surfaces. Ultra Foamy (purple) – Marketed for bathrooms, but I use it for dust and dirt on glass, kitchen areas, and storage surfaces. First time I've ever used Mr. Clean Eraser sponge. I was really impressed with the cleaning quality. Good price, super easy to use. I used one, without the Dawn dish soap and WITHOUT getting it wet to clean my windshield and windows inside my car, WOW, it took the dirt, dust, smudges and oils completely off my windows. Used on my mirrors too. Thickness is perfect. I recommend these sponges.

The Mr. Clean Magic Sponge is a total lifesaver for tough cleaning jobs. It works surprisingly well on stubborn stains and scuff marks without needing harsh chemicals. I’ve used it on walls, countertops, and even shoes, and it always makes them look much cleaner. The only downside is that it wears down pretty quickly with heavy use. Overall, it’s an incredibly handy cleaning tool that I reach for again and again.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser sponges really shine when it comes to cleaning newer stains and everyday messes around the house. I use them on walls, doors, tubs, baseboards, sinks, and even sneakers, and they easily remove fresh scuffs, fingerprints, and grime with very little effort. It almost feels like you are wiping the dirt away instead of scrubbing it. However, they are not nearly as effective on older, set-in stains, which often require a lot more pressure and time, and even then the results can be disappointing. Another downside is that after heavy scrubbing, the sponges tend to wear down and disintegrate fairly quickly, meaning you go through them faster than expected.

Where would I be without my Mr. Clean sponges! They are awesome! My only advice is be careful on walls. They can remove the sheen if you rub too hard. Then you are left with a dull spot that you will notice when the light hits it a certain way. The sponges are amazing for cleaning so many things. I use them in the shower when I do my weekly cleaning, they get in the nooks and crannies and work great on water spots. I’ve used them in my oven, stovetop, kitchen sink, grout on the floor, it’s endless. If nothing else works, these seem to. With that being said, I’m also careful when using. Like I’ve said there is a sort of grit to them that can damage if you are not careful in using. One thing to note, other brands don’t seem to work as well. I always go back to Mr. Clean.
