Bad shoelace design and quality
Shoe look and feel good but quality of some parts is bad. Within a month the loops through which shoelace pass through came off. See the pic

Falling apart at the... laces
Awful. Awful in the sense that after wearing them for all day use just 3 times, now the laces supports are falling apart. 2 broken ones on the left, one on the right, making the shoes loose. It’s a shame, because they are comfortable and functional and good looking, and a shame because although not terribly expensive, still for a 100 bucks, they are not cheap.

Comfortable poorly made boots
They're really comfortable for about 2 weeks of light use, then the laces start breaking loose.

They look cool, and are padded alot! Everyone will ask where you get those nice riding boots!
I no longer scuff my boots, and these are perfect, I have not had any problems did not need to raise my clutch because the boots are too tall or anything, I kept everything stock, and feel my feedback when changing gears with these boots. I do like the red color! It's not real leather, but so far with my heavy riding has lasted way longer then even my sneaker shoes! Very comfortable, and from what i can tell, the amount of shocks and padding will protect my feet on a fall, their is a lot of absorption areas.

Much better than expected. Super comfortable
When I started shopping for replacement motorcycle shoes I came across these. I wasn't sure what to think due to the few reviews that I found on them. These came in and they are fantastic, extremely comfortable, well built. I must say after reading reviews of some major brands and the junk that they are producing for a lot more money I am surprised. These are fantastic, and they look better than the pictures on amazon.

After a month of use the unit has proven to be very comfortable to have on. I have some Sidi boots and those are great for just riding but I wanted a pair that I can walk around easier at work or going to the store and these are perfect for that.Riding a liter bike, these can get hot when the engine heat transfers onto them which my Sidi high or low boots do.I don’t get smelly feet so not sure whether the boots hold odor. But it dries fast once out of the boots after 2-3 hour rides on a hot day.I really like the shoelace strap on the lip of the boots.

Bates Motorcycle Boots
Excellent appearance. Good comfort. Unfortunately 3 of the 4 eyelets dislodged and had to be removed from the left boot. A trip to the local shoe repair and 20 dollars less the eyelets werereplaced with a speed ties. This addition made the boots more comfortable and easier to secure.These boots are between 2 and 3 months old. I have owned Bates in the past with no problems. The boots are great all around for a ride on my motorcycle or casual ware. I am disappointed in this recent event.

Bates Beltline Performance Men's motorcycle boot
ordered as a Prime Member with 2 day shipping,which turned into a 10 day delivery...I normally wear size 11 1/2 wide so I ordered a 12 right out of the box they looked small.they barely fit.If you have wide feet order a full size larger.. they are also very light,which is what I wanted..They are not USA made..
