You can pour quite a lot of stuff in it, and it obviously seems to reach a suitable temperature because the smell that comes off is really potent, which is just what I wanted. I find that its best to even water down the liquids you put in, because it tones down the harshness of the potency a bit, and it also makes it last longer.I use about 1 part marjoram oil, 1 part lavender extract, and 1 or 2 parts water. Swish them around and pour in about a table spoon full. Within 10 minutes or so it has filled my room with the aroma, really great.Also it is fairly hot to the touch, like a plate full of food or something, but it's not hot enough to ever be a fire hazard which was a bit of a relief for me.Only negative is that there's no switch on it, so you just either plug it in or pull the plug out. Price is fair enough but I'm sure they could have included a little switch on the back or something.

absolutely useless
absolutely useless. heats up very slightly. no fragrance release whatsoever. total waste of money. better to buy cheap tea light oil burners

iam a bit disapointed with this item, it is alot smaller than i thought and it also takes along time for the scented oils to warm up(a good 25mins) and let the aroma fill the room, saying that it is easy to clean.if you put 2-4 drops of vapourising oil in the middle it gives you a good 15 mins of aroma, but if you put a teaspoon of water plus 4-5 drops of oil you can get a good 45min aroma.

Works very well
Add a few drops of oil, top up with a little waster and it will last all night giving out a pleasant scent. Very safe as doesn't get too warm, so even if you forget to turn it off there should be nothing to worry about ~ recommended!

Lovely item but more suitable for a small room.

Looks cute - but cannot smell anything!
Am not sure if I like it - I really cannot smell anything, although it did warm up. Nothing - no smell or vapour or waft of a smell... Maybe I am fussy but decidedly there is no effect of this device whatsoever. It has been on for an hour now - will wait for some more but I am afraid it is £20 down the drain :(.

this is great, and works pretty much instantly, much safer option to leave in a room than a candle burner, and don't need to add water to make it work. love it

Absolute Aroma Heaven
Being afraid of fire this is perfect as I don't need to leave a candle burning whilst I am asleep. I wanted to check whether this would be ok for this and the seller was fantastic at reassuring me. I would really recommend this item to anyone who is looking for this type of thing as it really helps me to relax.
