It is just ok.
I used this lens with a Sony A6700. I think it is an ok lens, it works and is cheap but the image quality isn't that great. If your pictures are only going to be viewed on something with a low resolution or small screen then I think it is fine.

You won’t regret it. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
One of the best lenses I have tried, and the price is unbeatable for the quality it offers—it’s a gift. Unfortunately, I had to return it because it didn’t work for vlogging, but I will buy it again soon.

Struggles with auto-focus and it’s a little hard to get it to click into place
The lens works okay on my Sony ZV-E10, but it’s not great. There are some functionality issues, though. For example, it zooms in and out extremely slow. It also struggles with autofocus. Autofocus works, but it can be slow and sometimes it can be quite the struggle to get it to to focus at all. But when it does focus, the shot looks great. It doesn’t click into place as easily as my stock lens. It was a little tight trying to get it on. But I got it on and now that I’ve done it a few times, I feel more comfortable taking it off and putting it on.

Great lens when it works
Lens is terrific when it works but 60% of the time struggles to put anything in focus. Entire photos will be blurry and nothing will help it autofocus besides praying when you point it away then back at the subject it will focus. Will definitely be returning asap as this is embarrassing to shoot clients when half of the photos are out of focus.

Fantastic Quality!
Once again TTArtisan hits or out of the park with an AF lens for my Sony camera. This lens has immaculate clarity and crispness, and the build quality is phenomenal. I wouldn't expect anything less from TTArtisan as they have a history of producing some of the best lenses I've ever owned and this one is no exception. The little details are what set this lens apart from others, the polished mounting plate not only looks great but will slide perfectly into my cameras mount without rubbing or scraping and the lens cover protects the glass when in transit. The auto focus works great too, especially for an aftermarket lens it's truly incredible how well it works with the camera's software to capture stunning photos. The speed of the aperture is fantastic too, easily I'm able to capture those shots with plenty of bokeh and background blur. Overall this is an incredible amount of value from such a small little lens, as with all the lenses made by these guys, you really can't go wrong and this one is no exception. Highly recommend lens!

More like 3.5 stars
This 35mm f1.4 aps-c lens from TTArtisan is a decent offering for the price. Having an autofocusing lens at this price point, as fast as this, is certainly a tempting lens to add to the collection. However, at this price point, you do have to make certain compromises. I suppose it all depends on what it is that you're looking for in a lens, but there are some positives, and negatives in my opinion. First, the lens is quite sharp in the center of the frame, even at f 1.4, however, it certainly sharpens up quite a bit as you stop down to f5.6 to f8. The corners however are quite soft, even throughout most of the aperture range. I personally liked the bokeh that I got from the faster apertures, and found the fall off very pleasing. There is quite a bit of vignetting happening at faster apertures, which can be eliminated as you stop down. The vignetting is pretty egregious though, so you'll need to keep that in mind when shooting wide open. If that is a look that you like to go for however, then you'll probably be satisfied with the performance throughout all the aperture range. The autofocus motor is pretty decent, though nowhere near as fast, and confident as Sony lenses, and other aftermarket ones that I've tried from Sigma, and others. It's also a little noisy in my opinion, so it may not be the best for on-camera microphones while doing video work. Another unpleasant downside is the pretty bad flaring that you get, which tells me that the coatings are not very good, if present at all. All in all, considering its price point, you get a brand new fast 35mm lens, that renders a pretty nice bokeh, and good fall off, making it a decent value for sure. Truth be told, there are better options out there, but they are significantly more expensive. So, if you are on a tight budget, you can certainly justify purchasing this lens, and getting good use out of it. Of course, on an aps-c body, this is pretty much equivalent to a nifty 50, which makes it very versatile. I think it depends on your requirements, but I would neither recommend, nor dissuade you from purchasing this lens.
