Tonor TD520/510 compatability
Got this tonor TD520 to replace my tonor TC310 on my ps5.side note. My daughter needed a new mic so i upgraded. What an upgrade!! Audio is quality is solid and is completely tune able for no background noise between ps setting and discord settings plus settings on the mic itself. Would definitely recommend and did. My cousin decided to get the same one even tho he had a shur for his pc but it wasn't compatible with the ps5. His Audio now on pc and ps5 are the same as if he never switched.👏👏👏 congrats tonor. The Quality is great. Weight is heavy but seem legit and good quality. Will give another update after some months of use gaming.

Excellent option for a cardioid style podcasting/gaming mic.
This mic won’t completely match a nice name brand mic but it’s significantly cheaper. It has a really decent presence compared to a headset mic and does have a nice pickup pattern. Off axis is lower but still will pickup without noise canceling turned on. It has nice controls for Mute, Headphone Volume, and Headphone Side Talk Volume. Talk back Indicator ring to show mic and audio mute. The audio pickup at 3” is the best I’ve found and with the windscreen it does filter out the pops and breath noises. Getting farther away makes it sound more distant but retains some level of presence. It does fall off exponentially as do all microphones. Comes with a USB C and an XLR cable for both uses. You can retain the best quality when you use a separate DAC with XLR but the integrated USB C connection does have a high quality 2 Channel 24 bit 96kHz connection for HiFi quality. The construction is rock solid and the mic has some heft to it. It comes with a nice stand that’s adjustable for height. I’m using a desk arm to reach the back of my desk. It has a set screw swivel that’s easy to use and readjust the angle. Rock solid option amongst lots. High quality microphone with limited flashy settings.

I am very pleased. At first it seemed to me "too sensitive", but it turned out to be a matter of settings - immediately after switching on it has the "most sensitive mode" set and you do not need to try to adjust the sound in the system, but simply press the buttons on the microphone itself. And if you hold down the microphone symbol, you can switch to the headphone volume mode and change the volume there.

Die Tonqualität ist hervorragend und das Mikrofon wirkt auch optisch sehr hochwertig. Besonders praktisch finde ich die Möglichkeit, ein Headset per AUX anzuschließen und direkt mitzuhören, was das Mikrofon aufnimmt. Echter Gamechanger, vor allem wenn man zuhause Familie hat.

Colour me surprised! I saw some great reviews of the Tonor TD520 whilst looking for an extra mic for podcasting. As a happy owner of the Rode Podcast Mic I expected the Tonor to be OK but not THIS good. Listen for yourselves and see what you think. It's honestly so close to call that you'd have to think long and hard as to why you'd pay more.
