How is a $20 bag of corn meal not rhe same as the guy selling hand sanitizer ar a huge markup ?

Buy King Arthur flour and buy cornmeal make it old fashioned way. The cost difference is Hugh.☺️

This is price gouging. I live in the south and this would normally be $2. Why is yours so expensive?

If you live west of the Mississippi there is no place to buy White Lily products, that I can find, except Amazon.

Why has the price taken such a hike?

6 lbs of this product from Walmart or Walmart.com is $4.80 on Jan. 29, 2020. I believe it’s 3rd party sellers on amazon. I’ve ordered a few products from Walmart.com if not available in store due to high prices of 3rd party sellers on Amazon. Never disappointed.

Can you use this to make hush puppies?

I don’t make homemade hush puppies. I don’t see why not. However; you would have to eliminate adding any additional baking powder, baking soda or salt to the recipe. Since Self-Rising Buttermilk Cornbread already has baking soda and salt.
